Please make the difference between a CTC trans warping and apearing simmaler to an average players!

I can use this to my advantage, so can everyone else, and it is an unfair advantage. This isnt a one sided argument, I have used this to my advantage, and have had it used against me.

The way it is now, because the transport is *local* if you will, it warps from one place, then apears where it is going... ...Players dont, even if its just a few seconds (like me, it does not usually take that long for sectors to load, not long enough for me to read the hints sometimes) it only takes a few seconds to kill a trans (trust me) so if im waiting at a worm hole that the trans is about to warp to, and all the defenders jump with the transport, I get a few seconds to kill it, before the defenders have even loaded the sector.

My suggestion is add a realistic delay between the transport (all npc's?) warping, and respawning. I suppose you guys have a better idea of average sector load time (I guess im above avaerage, as when im chasing a player, im usually in control of my ship when they just *warp in* even some US players have a higher ping than I do) but my guestimate would be around 150ms = 3 second load time. A 3 Second delay between CTC voy/NPC transition would sort this problem out, at least some defenders would make it in time.

I NEED TO BE ABLE TO EDIT THE DAMN TITLE! I can spell, i just cant type =/

i agree

I agree, even those of us here in America with fast connections have a tough time keeping up with the transport. The Europeans have a much tougher time staying with the trans, and poor Infinite_Skillz doesn't even try anymore.

yeah me on my poor european AND 56k connection, it just gets silly :P

I can't catch it at all, unless im already AT a sector waiting for it (bractus e2 etc..)

I reckon the transport could use slowing generally, slow its turbo speed and such. Heck you should make the last few runs occur with moths that dump mines periodically, but still go SLOW. That'd make things interesting :)

I also think that when ships go through a wormhole, they should
be within the wormhole radius on the other side.

Last night i was chasing a transport, about 20 m from it... we
both went thru wormhole, it was already 1300m away from me! i
had no chance to save it from the attackers.

and yet somehow when i ran from pirates thru wormhole i dont
remember them warping in 1300m away from me.

Please don't make such an issue of this. You can adapt when you know your average loading time - which btw is not the main reason why anyone tends to be late after a jump.

think about it, Sun Tzu, even if you jump at exactly the same moment as the transport, there's going to be a difference in when you emerge. Now that I think about it, I have come out of warp/wormholes a couple seconds before the transport a bunch of times, but I'm in America with broadband. My ping is usually very low, and loading times are very fast.

But for most of the European players that I see, they usually come out several seconds after the transport. Yes, you can jump before the transport, but that means that you're hoping that something doesn't happen to it after you've left. Yes, I've seen it happen before. All the defenders jumped early so they could arrive before the transport, and the transport was killed by some Itani who rushed up while the transport got confused for one reason or another.
