At Deku.

No, its not because I cant easily solo pirate one, if you read what i actually wrote (which apparently you didnt) I said I feel too safe when I jump in one. This is how good the current behemoth is.

I got into a storm with mine fully loaded with 120 cu of heliocene and easily out accelerated the dentek assaults to the 12000m (yes, your reading it right) storm exit point, they didnt have a prayer of catching me, or shooting me even once.

I lead 2 Aerna seekers right into the side of one today (ok, they can see roids, it apears they cant see behemoths, hehe) the damage caused was negligable (next time im defbot testing, i may use a behemoth)

I rammmed to death several station guards/strikeforces/aerna seekers that were uhum, trying to dock in an exit (i didnt fall below 80% health)

Theres a lot more, but you will see that not one of my examples includes me shooting at one.

I have (solo) managed to take out a moth, but when I jump in a huge lumbering trade ship, it should be just that, the behemoth isnt, its a beast of a trade ship.

[edit]

And if its supposed to be teh ship thats safe to trade in, both its normal, and corvus license req's should be upped, its way too easy to get a behemoth, and if anyone says trade 8 isnt something you pull out of your ass, you dont need trade 8 at corvus... and these days trade 8 isnt that hard (A _lot_ easier than say, combat 8)

@ Spider: Only a completely empty IDF Valk has that good a ratio. The Valk is impacted much more than a Prom by its weapon mass.

IDF Valk+1xN3: 6.5/100
IDF Valk+2xN3: 5.8/100
IDF Valk+3xN3: 5.2/100
IDF Valk+2xN3+1xSunFlare: 4.6/100
IDF Valk+2xSunFlare+1xN3: 4.1/100
IDF Valk+3xSunFlare: 3.7/100

the Behemoth has nothing to fear from bots in a storm once you've hit around 100m/s or so, which is easy to do if you arrive far from the bots and get to align yourself before turboing. from then you're safe.

if you spawn _in_ the bot cloud however, which I've done twice, you have a lot less fun. it takes time to align that baby and an Arklan (and on the next run, a pair of Valents) do _heavy_ damage to the ship as your running. what saved me were mines, nothing else.

bots aren't really a threat to anything (especially if it infiboosts) as long as you don't start in the middle of their core group. I don't really see any way of solving that, without making trading ships pie-rat fodder, apart from making bots smarter and use better weaponry. the reason bots are so easy to deal with is how they attack, the second a Guardian rams you though, you're quickly tossed into a world of pain.
