I see what you are both saying. PheonixHawk is pointing out what we already know, which is that there isn't a lot of content that fosters role-playing. Phaserlight is saying that there also isn't a lot to hamper role-playing. Both are true. We could still use more content to focus role-play, but we should be sure not to have the effect of constraining role-play into a sort of pigeonhole situation.

i know its slightly off topic, but letting players have a bio that other players can see would be one RP device that would be useful. At the moment all you see is name, race and guild, a bio would let them add 'nefarious pirate' or 'peaceful trader', guild info etc.

the player bio has been suggested before, If i recall the main argument against it was that all bios would need to be checked for content before being allowed ingame, mostly to prevent the one or two lamers who would type a string of obscene words into the bio.
