When I click on leave station, I can see my ship leaving the station and going through the force field. Mid way through it locks up the game and my entire computer. I know I'm running the border line of the requirements. 950 MHZ Athalon 256 MB ram and a 32 MB Diamond Viper video card. I'm running Windows 98 second edition. Has anyone else had this problem or have any Idea what it might be.

Sounds like a video card issue, but I note that your system specs are close to the margin (see below). It's not unheard of to run the game with a system that's below the minimum requirements, but you need to do a few things:

-Make sure your drivers are up to date.
-Shut down any non-essential applications
-Set the in-game video and graphics settings to their lowest settings. Once you are able to successfully undock you can tweak these back up for a good balance of performance and beauty. Pilots who are online can advise you where to skimp and where to splurge.

OK, well, That seems to have worked I dropped the res down and I can play just fine. The graphics suck but hey that's the trade off. Thanks for the help I appriciate it.
