Hi all,

Got a question about the raptor pt III mission. When you jump to the final test segment where you kill all the bots ( denteks? ) do you have to kill them one by one? I have been finding ( genotype made me aware of this ) that bots dying by collateral damage ( caught in explosions of other bots ) can prevent you from passing the mission. Has anyone passed this mission? If so, can you discuss your tactics for this one segment?

You are exactly right, Cuimhai.

Draw a few away from the main portion, and use energy weaps, splash them one at a time and try not to engage clusters.

I had to do this about 8 times before I succeeded finally. Although I learned what the problem was AFTERWARD, and that I had succeeded only by blind luck and chance. Like usual. :)

well keep flying until they bunch up. then you always drift in circles and pick the one with the lowest armor change directions in such way that it gets a bit separated from the rest and gattle away. once it is killed, target them all to find the one with lowest armor again. I figured this mission out after 6 times until someone told me about the collateral damage problem and ended it successfully once i was taking care of the splash and killed the weakest bots first.
