Frigate issues.

Another incarnation of the random polygons this time, but this time it is centralized around the frigate and uses very odd coloring for the polygons.
As usual:
iBook
900 MHz g3
32 MB VRAM
640 RAM
Mac OS 10.3.2

I've got pictures of several different types of the bug with the frigate, i'm still trying to get more. Tell me if you need the screen shots.

strangely, i have no complications whatsoever with the frig (apart from the jump when it spawns).

pBook
867 MHz or 1 GHz (my system profiler confuses me, says 867M , box says 1 G)
384 MB RAM
32 MB VRAM
OSX.3.2

I am soooo pointing my finger at the video card for these type problems.

Okay, slight update on this:
Sometimes if i turn HUD off they disappear.
The frigate dies, the random epileptic polygons disappear.
I take a picture, the polygons usually change.
The polygons do extend on the X, Y, and Z axis, they are not on the skybox.
The polygons caused by the frigate are:
--Slightly transparent
--Shiny
--Have many different textures like, bars, solid, something like the ice roids.
--Always teal.

I've gotten that. It happens when I turn my textures up to maximum. It isn't just the Frigate either. It happens to the Ceres stations too. Usually it's a reflection of what's in it. Sometimes you can see parts of your HUD on it or a ships that is near it.
It must be some problem with the texture rendering.
I use a 16MB ATI Rage, 700Mhz G3 with 128 MB of RAM on OS 10.3

I took pics of it once, but had to wipe my HD for the panther install. It usually stops if you turn down your texture resolution. If I let it go on for too long like this it sometimes freezes up and causes a Kernel Panic. The Kernel Panic has happenned to me in S2, 11, and 17.

Never fear, i have 90 pictures of it, 50 of which are most likely worthless.
