g3/300

WHOA!! works quite well on a machine that falls well below the minimum requirements. only issue is i can't change the video settings. the apply button stays greyed out.

no big deal though, the game is still playable with little problems, it gets a little jumpy when i am approaching a station that has rotating parts. aside from that... AWESOME!!!!

For the slow down with stations, did you try the setting doshaders to 1?

I doubt that someone would put a GPU which supports shaders into a 300 MHz G3 Mac... ;-)

We have a G3/350 that we've used for a few years until we got loaners from Apple.

Setting doshaders won't have any effect on a G3/300 unless it had a higher-end video card than what came with it.

The Apply button stays greyed ou because of a bug that is fixed for the next update. Use the arrow keys to switch the setting and then Apply will work.

yeah there is a ati radeon 7000 in the g3.

thanks for the tip about using arows instead of the mouse to change settings... works much better now! and to show my appreciation for the develoers, i purchased the pre release today. thanks for all you hard work guys!

you can put a 9200 pci in a g3 it will enable vertex shaders, but it's rather expencive.

dose anyone know why the system requirements are so way off?, is it so in the future when the game is more advanced people can complain it no longer runs n there system?

Because of the bugs with different hardware in 10.2.8 and to cover ourselves.
