Ben Shaw, those colors you are seeing are not the correct colors. Green, blue, and red lights in docks are incorrect lights caused by a driver issue.

Tertior: The screen-shots you posted look almost exactly the same as I am
seeing using my G4 Dual 1Ghz running OSX 10.2.8. What are you seeing that does not seem to show in your pictures??

I just got here and I'm looking the place over. I see alot of stuff about 10.3.6. I don't know anout this game, but just watch your external FW hard drives (if you can still see them).

I recently installed Vendetta on my G4 after installing a brand-new Radeon 9800 video card. I noticed as I was playing with the graphic settings that the discoloration anomoly is directly related to the full-screen glow effect setting. With the setting off, the anomoly is gone. When the setting is enabled, the bizarre discoloration is seen on all manner of effects such as wormholes, nearby stars, and most noticably in the docking portals of space stations. The colors seem to shift depending on your point of view, but they always seem to be either a yellow, red, or green tint. I posted some screenshots of the anomoly here http://homepage.mac.com/ironduck/PhotoAlbum5.html .

Ok, the glow is the wrong color sometimes and I think I fixed it for the next update. Must've been a change with the way OS X does it's shaders. I was using state.material.diffuse but apparently that doesn't work anymore.

The new patch1.15 have fixed the problem.

Oh yeah, thanks. I forgot to get that put into the changelog for 1.1.5.

Stay with OS 10.3.6 or below. Anything above that is buggy. Do not upgrade
to 10.3.7. Knocks out bluetooth and other things. I like 10.3.0 for myst
revelations. It works.

10.3.7 works perfectly fine for me and Tseng, and we use bluetooth. I recommend the upgrade, the new video drivers are worth it.

Yes. I've been using 10.3.7 for a couple of months, and there are some real improvements. I still get really low framerates when a station is in view, but it
does not happen all the time. Wish I could figure that one out....

See the post "Station lag" a little down the page, that fix usually works.
