I recently wiped my HDD and reinstalled xubuntu. My next step was to reinstall VO. That worked fine, but when I try running it, I receive the following error:

bash: /home/esmurdo/bin/vendetta: Permission denied

I haven't done anything differently than the last time I installed VO. What gives?

What have checked so far?

Are the execute permission bits set on the vendetta binary?
Checked the ownership of the vendetta binary?
Checked the /home mount options?

Turns out I had to check "allow to run as program". Thank you for the list, that's what helped me figure it out.
