Hi all!
i have Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 with last update, but in Vendetta doesn't work any sound and in console get this error:

kde@spyrotsk-desktop[/usr/local/games/vendetta]$ ./vendetta
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:1008:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
/dev/dsp: Device or resource busy

In KDE4, amarok, and another games the sound work correctly!

Do you have something else with audio running also?

I thought the latest kde in ubuntu switched to using pulse audio? Perhaps thats the issue? Is vendetta hard coded to use ALSA?
