Why no support for the galaxy tab??? I am not going to go spend 800 bucks just to play this game !!??!
who cares if its not a duel core chip at least let us have the option to run it on our tablets..
who cares if its a little laggy I can live with it till I upgrade to the HTC flyer but wait ! HTC is not a duel core device either and it hits in April...

The galaxy tab is NOT a tegra2 device. VO is ONLY supported on tegra2 devices. This has always been the case, just because it may theoretically be possible to run VO on other devices does not mean those devices are supported. Maybe in the future. VO android release was ALWAYS intended to start for tegra2 devices ONLY, not others.

If you bought a galaxy tab you're shit out of luck. If you plan to buy a second-non-tegra2 device next you're also shit out of luck. You're choice to purchase non-supported devices in no way requires the devs of VO to support you're crappy device choices. Buy a tegra2 or stfu.

You don't buy a PS3 and DEMAND that bungie release halo# for your console (an xbox exclusive), so why are you here demanding that support be added for your unsupported device?

That will be all :)

I hardly think every gaming device is going to have tegra2 in it and I'm sure even tegra2 will fade out so STFU I wont buy a silly 800$ device to play a 99 cent game when I can buy something for that price that will do other things more important and also play a game when I am bored!!
so if this game only supports a few expensive devices Ill pass :)
PS I hate Halo and I didn't buy it for my Xbox and who cares if its not on PS3 which I also own , there are better games out there for both..

halo was an example, there are many platform exclusive games (and most are poor examples because they COULD run on other consoles they just don't, VO likely wouldn't run well on your galaxy tab). As for future devices not being tegra2, that's fine they will be faster and more then sufficient to run stuff a tegra2 can. As for your choice to buy a non-tegra2 device, live with it. You completely missed my point. Don't go buy an $800 device just to play VO, it also plays fine on desktop/laptops so those are options if you really wanna play the game. Just because you're device can't play VO (or can't play it to a sufficient level of quality, as the hardware is not capable of it) doesn't mean that it should. Go play angry-birds, it requires much less processing power and should run fine on your limited device.

Eventually VO will likely support more devices, but it just launched on tegra2 devices, and alot of work remains before it can work on other (slower) devices if ever. You're request is like asking for a ps3 game to run on a ps2 because you don't want to dish out the $$$ for newer hardware.

Sounds like you're not part of the target market, kid. Play the PC/Mac/Linux version, or fuck off completely. Don't let the doorknob tear your asshole as you depart, Mmmkay?

Uhh. Drazed/Lecter, please either dial down the aggression in your responses, or don't post them at all.

upperking: The GPU in the Galaxy Tab does not support certain game-industry standards (like DirectX Texture Compression), adding quite a bit of development time and maintenance. Tegra2 supports all the standards out of the box, on all Android devices.

We aren't ruling out offering a Galaxy Tab-optimized version down the road, but we did not have the time to make one thus far. Selling a version with known, sub-optimal performance is asking for a lot of bad reviews on the Android Market.
