Moto Z gamepad does not work with VO

Mar 27, 2019 Corporal Punishment link
Didn't see this specific device and mod mentioned.

Am posting because I see lots of other devices are game controller compatible, yet the Moto Z gamepad is not. It just doesn't function or allow for any rebind that I'm seeing.

Is this device not incorporated as is, or what?
It would be nice as the Moto has a special line of it's own, but since it's not apparently compatible.

I wanted to ask if such was in the works, or if it's not going to be added.

Thank you in advance, I know y'all are busy, I do not expect a reply immediately.

So, this is the first I've heard of this controller.

It appears to be some kind of proprietary, non-standard device, that doesn't use the normal Android gamepad APIs, or at least appear like a regular controller. That's just based on a little reading online.

From reviews, it's also unsupported by PUBG, Roblox, and a lot of other major games.

I would say.. don't expect this to start working anytime soon. You might be able to custom configure some of the controls, in the Settings menu of the game ("keyboard" for buttons, etc), if they show up as detectable inputs. But, no idea beyond that.

We generally recommend the SteelSeries XL (don't buy the Nimbus by mistake, that is iOS only), and various other full sized bluetooth gamepads, for Android.

Oh thanks for the info.

I'll try the custom configure and and see.

Yeah, I tried it on pubg was able to look around slowly even with sensitivity maxed. It only seems to work in a half dozen games, mostly racing style.

No worries, I hear blue tooth controller is way to go.

Thank you for your help and time, both are appreciated.
