RULES:

1) As far as ships and weapons go, only two weapons are banned: Chaos Sawrm Missiles and Locust Swarm Missiles. This is done to recognize the "beep effect" in combat, ie scaring your opponent with all the target lockon alerts.

2) No running for obcene distances. This is subjective, but honestly.. I'll call it if you go out beyond 3,000 meters of anyone. This rule is flexible and bendable, but do not abuse it.
Better guide, don't go outside of the asteroid field.

3) Once you are dead, you are out. You may return to watch, but must announce this over sector comm.

4) Once you leave the sector you are out. This means no repairing at a station, no reloading and no jumping out to jump back in when your team wins.

5) The prize is two million credits, split among the qualifying survivors ONLY! If you have broken a rule above but have survived, don't expect to get credits.

6) The Nation War Event takes place in Sedina D-2 at the time of 11pm GMT on Sundays between three teams, each team representing a nation.

7) Team leaders are participants in the event, who represent their team when I speak to them. I expect them to be honest.

8) Things may change due to unavoidable circumstances. Always follow the instructions of Blue Streak or Erik C. , whichever one of my alts run the event (Usually the former)

9) If a participant is hated by their own nation, they have may go on any of the teams (including their nation's team) so long as they are A) Liked by that nation (Ignore if you join your own nation's team) and B) Announce it beforehand, to myself and/or the participants. This keeps everyone in the know.

10) No interfering with playability in the War sector. this includes (but is not limited to): Cargo drops

The Furball:

I had zoomed through the main Serco group, looking for slow stragglers. Who would I find but Kixkizzle, who is neither, I assure you. I broke off and headed back to the main fight, but not before he got me down to about 76%.

With our group broken and scattered, I went after what eats flares best: Warthogs. I sighted a Warthog from the UIT engaging one of my wingmates. Two or three pairs of flares took care of him. I dived back in and went after Ecka, another Union team member, and also in a Hog. While he tried to evade another one of my teamate's shots, I nailed him as well.

By this time, though, my ship was down to about 20%, through various explosions nearby and stray shots hitting me. I would come to face off with kix again, or rather, try running away and around him. But it was not to be, as a stream of his neuts and phase blasts took me out about a minute after the chase had begun.

The Results:
The Serco won with five heavily damaged fighters left alive. They were: Kixkizzle, HauntedJade, Drago Ferraris, Shedu and Ryan Stasis. Each wurvivor recieved four hundred thousand credits each for their achievement, totalling two million credits handed out.

Score Tally - Itani - 3, UIT - 3, Serco - 3

If I ever show up for one of these things, we'll have to mark the occasion...

Flying a Heavy myself (Aggresso) I targeted Viper88 first off, who was in a Prom. Figured the heavies might as well take care of each other. Caught Viper from behind while he was attacking lights. It quickly turned into a 1 on 1 between the two of us. We were both low on armor quickly and somehow I was able to pull off a killing blow. Unfortuantly, Shebu had gotten behind me and before I could engage him he took me out.

So quickly ends my fight at the Nation War this week.

Congrats Serco and thanks to BS for organizing another great event! I love these big multis.

The Shedu started out with The Wailing Widow in his sights...
But then he took a bit of damage from Fooz's l-mine, so he chased Fooz around a bit, boomed Joyce Sanders, chased Fooz some more, blasted Stranger (what was left, anyway), tried to find Fooz (found another one of his l-mines, though), chased Blue Streak (SCP vs IDF... ah-huh),...

and found The Widow! He played ring-around-the-roid with The Nimble Widow, trying to dodge her Amazingly Accurate Nuets, emptiing battery upon battery, only to get one ot two hits with the gatt. (whoa! another roid!!). The Shedu's patients (and armor) finally prevailed.

And the Serco had won. (O.o, Fooz was back in-sector! TURBO!)

gosh... take some pain killers for one night... and i get back on to find that i coulda been on here blasting players with my fellow UITs. Damn!!! I need a schedule of these events... Lol

Went for Stranger in his nice big truck. Got some shots in and watched him explode. Wasn´t me though. Went after targets of opportunity until I found Calahim and tried to get him. At this point I realised a bit dismayed that there was a LOT of Serco and nothing else...
In the end I made the mistake of ending in a crossfire and thus get nuked.

Good and deserved win for Serco!

Now that the summertime is upon us, could we move to 10PM GMT or even 9? Monday is a workday...
