UPK needs UIT citizens to volunteer in a domestic operation!

This message was recently announced by the UPK:
"Citizens and affiliates of the UIT,
We have conferred with the UIT Senate and have decided to take immediate forceful actions against what we believe to be the causes of the literally hundreds of UIT civilian deaths that have occurred from Serco-Itani crossfire inside UIT monitored space. For the duration of this agreement, not a single Serco or Itani must be allowed by any of our courageous citizens to enter or travel UIT space unless they agree, immediately, to exit our monitored areas. If any Itani or Serco to not agree to leave, we request the use of hostile actions. We ask this policy to be applied to all Itani and Serco, regardless of standing, guild affiliations, friendships, or claims of not being a source of violence (as they will all claim, sooner or later). It is important to note that, we want this policy to be carried out inside monitored systems and on the unmonitored sides of our wormholes. As for our stock of commodities and supplies - we would encourage our trade to come from UIT haulers only.
Remember, do not discriminate in the choosing of your targets, if you happen to see a Serco or Itani in monitored space with Admired or above standing, you may kill them by lowering their armor with your weapons and delivering the killing blow with your own hull - the kill will not go on record it this is done... although we encourage our citizens to mainly focus our efforts on the border wormholes. Also remember that the goal of this operation is to ensure out freedom inside our own borders - and to save the lives of our own citizens. Help your UPK, it is your duty to volunteer your ship in this temporary operation."
We, at the USN, asked a Senate official for an estimation of the duration of this operation. He responded thusly:
"As long as it takes to establish that we are our own people and that we do not tolerate outside conflict in out own home. It was a tough decision to make to finally agree on this operation, but it is necessary to put the safety of our own people over our profits. Most Serco and Itani merchants will deny their actions, but we must not trust them."
We, at USN, are estimating that, although individual citizen action will begin immediately... we will see most of the organization beginning approximately 24 hours after the public transmission of this message.

The Phoenix Alliance guild has recently condemned actions by the UPK force in regards to sealing the UIT border to foreigners. Although PA has quite a number of UIT members, it is a proudly multinational force, and sealing off the border has proven to be extremely detrimental to the guild.
Because of these negative effects PA will be seeking direct military action against any UPK ships should they fire on PA members. If the UPK continue to attack PA harsher measures will be considered, including a declaration of war or a possible invasion of Arta and Dau should the UPK continue their aggression.
It is the Alliance's fervent wish that this unfortunate episode end quickly and peacefully, but PA will not stand idly by and let unwarranted attacks on its members pass without action.

Corvus officials in Bractus have agreed to begin negotiations with the Bractus Liberation Front in an effort to negotiate a cease fire agreement due to heavy casualties on both sides. Though both sides are skeptical, a recent policy shift in the Bractus Corvus business dynamic indicates that peace in Bractus may soon be a reality.
Ryan Reign, commander of The Bractus Liberation Front released this statement...
"If the Bractus Corvus consortium is serious and is willing to cease its more despicable practices then the BLF is indeed willing to negotiate a cease fire however, actions speak louder than words. Corvus needs to show us that they are serious about these negotiations."
Corvus officials had this to say...
"Normally we wouldn't negotiate. However, the BLF is starting to cut into our profitability. If we can deal with that by shifting certain parts of our operations to Odia, then so be it. The bottom line is war is goo for business, unless you're being attacked constantly."

BOMB FOUND IN ESTA CEMETERY
Late last night IDF specialists found and removed what appeared to be a bomb from the stately Eo Memorial Cemetery on the normally quiet planet Esta in the Eo system.
The IDF explosives removal unit sped from the scene with the evidence safely packed in a disposal pod and brought the explosives to an undisclosed location with a military escort.
Leaving residents of the quiet Itani community to wonder how a powerful cache of explosives ended-up in their neighborhood.
IDF explosives removal unit officers responded to the scene after a worker reported what appeared to be an explosive device in the Eo Memorial Cemetery.
The eighteen blocks of C-47X explosives were capable of destroying roughly seventeen city units said an IDF officer on the condition of anonymity. Its discovery triggered a military response including aviation, emergency service and the bomb squad.
The commissioner of the Itani civil defense brigade told reporters the explosives were military-grade.
But, it was not immediately clear whether they were military-issue or available for civilian use in demolition.
Investigators are looking into a possible connection to the current war with the Serco Empire as well as seeking out suspected members of the Order of Akan, though thus far no group has claimed responsibility for the device.
By apparent coincidence, a threatening note was found on the cockpit of an IDF patrol ship at a nearby base on Sunday.
"The note is a rambling that makes some reference to both the Serco and the Order of Akan and has some religious statements in it, but investigators see no connection at this time." an IDF spokeswoman said.

The incident took place Monday in the town of Matarenif. The gunmen dragged fourteen men out of their houses and sprayed them with bullets. Four men were killed immediately, and ten were critically wounded.
Serco security forces believe those killed were members of a small sub faction that believed that the peace and reconciliation with the Itani was the best course of action.

The bombing on Sunday morning targeting a meeting of prominent philosophers and diplomats seeking to end the long war with the Serco. Officials said that no one has yet taken credit for the bombing, but OoA fighters have launched attacks of a similar nature targeting other peace oriented groups.
A senior security official in western Vamis told media "The techniques used in the attack, and the targets do seem to indicate that the OoA is responsible for the attack."
A spokesperson for the OoA refused to confirm or deny OoA's involvment in the attack. When contacted the OoA stated that, "a comprehensive statement will be issued in the near future both on thecurrent weakness of the Itani military and government as well as the present case (related to the explosion)."
The blast coincided with the arrest of 16 hight ranking members criminal militant group sending shock waves through the Order of Akan and leaving a power vacuum as members try to re-establish a power base.
