Fishing for Law guns is absurd.

There is nothing uber about neuts mk3, aaps or laws.
You still need to aim and actually hit with them.

I cannot agree to nerfing these weapons, as they are what I consider the easier to defeat choices of my opponents.

I think the weps are fine, the way they are, even the AGT.

No more nerfing. Of anything. Everytime I see this game digress towards matched pistols at dawn it pisses me off more and more.

IBGs shouldn't be able to kill proms with much if any success. Light fighters should have a devil of a time getting near a heavy ship carrying an agt. Flares should hurt--a lot. And those obnoxious tin cans with all energy should be the ones that don't have to reload, can be a pain in the ass to hit and generally make life miserable when flown well.

I don't think any of the weapons need nerfing. I rarely use N3s and never use APPs. If I'm fighting a guy with n3s I never know it, he still dies, just maybe a couple shots later than he would have. The AGT is fine too I think.

It would be neat if flares and missiles could be shot down by energy weapons. It might add a neat new dimension to combat.

Shot down would need to equal detonation rather than vanishing, though.

You're never going to find an equal distribution of weapons among players. I submit that a majority of the player base is more or less equal in skill and weapons preference: hence there are lots of the same loadout. Nerf one combo for being popular and too easy to use, people will (1) bitch and (2) switch en masse to the next most popular load out.

AGT auto aim is not a "bad thing" per se, regardless of VO being skill based or Shape being whiney. AGT auto aim should be ballanced by repeat rate, energy consumption, mass of the turret and damage per hit--and it is. The same trade offs are present in the gauss/plasmadev series, though in a different ballance. And so on and so forth.

Leave it the fuck alone already. Do something useful, like buffing the Valk to be a better match to the Prom series.

The Valk needs serious buffing... The weapons are decent right now, as there are much more important things to deal with currently, i.e. the new economy, I can't wait! There is actually going to be a dynamic (to some level) economy!!!

As I said, I use N2s almost exclusively when Im not flying the Atlas of Doom.

I can still beat down any N3 or AAP pilot with ease.
