Because the devs haven't implemented it yet?

+1 to reduced SVG drain

you're all a bunch of ninnies VO combat is much more like an FPS then a traditional point and click MMO and very few FPS games have pulled off asymetric combat and the ones that did generally aren't very popular because when one teams gimmick is better or is more easily exploitable then everyone wants to join that team. what if in TF2 everyone went blue or in COD everyone was whatever flavor of the month terrorist group because they got better killstreaks or perks. Not that the serco should get a "serco valk" or the itanis an "itani prom" but they should have options. not to mention the war has been going on for something like 1000 years and no serco general said "hey our enemy keeps doing these hit and runs maybe we should make some fast attack interceptors to stop them"

if this game ever takes off with the station conquest and building actually working all the races are going to need viable high tier fast attack craft and area denial craft and with the way the game works now more speed means you have more options and in general more options means more of a chance for success

Exactly, and that is why this simple tweak is a step in the right direction.

Itani can (and maybe should) retain an advantage in light combat ships like the Serco have in the prom, but that does not mean that the supposedly best Serco light fighter should suck as an interceptor.

To quote Kierky of almost two months ago: "Fix it! devs. just. do it."

omg, pey-pey wins the thread!

+1 to SVG Turbo Drain = 54

But i'd probably counter-suggest the IBG and RevC get a reduction too, from 60 to 57 or 58

I've supported this idea, and there is no good reason why it shouldn't happen.

The 225m/s is also an important change for this to be significant

lol Greenwall nailed it.

This ship already got a turbo drain buff a couple of years ago. Give it a rest.
