"Home in capship"
it would be good if you could respawn on your capship. regardless of the sector in which the capship is located
something like a home station

-1 it makes capship defense too easy. If a pilot undocks from their capship to defend it, and is killed, they deserve to have some risk in travelling back to defend it. In this system, you're essentially giving the pilot the chance to first lose a ship, then still get to fly their capship immediately or undock in yet another ship.

Undocking to defend a capship is not making it easier. We should be striving to have player v player combat. Homing in a capital ship will allow for this. If the pilot burns through all their ships, then they'll have to pilot the capship itself.

+1 I agree with this. And this is coming from someone who's assassinated his share of unattended capships before owners could get back or move them.
I'd rather have the interaction or even a chance for them to negotiate with me than do it in single-player mode.

This is the kind of thing I'd want implemented, even if it turned out overpowered, as we can easily nerf this or other capital vessel functionality in return. increasing engagement is usually a plus.
EDIT: could go that you have to be in the same sector as it when you die, otherwise your default home location is used. This would increase its defendability while requiring you actually be in a position to defend it in the first place.
