One thing that has been pestering me a bit is the inability to name ships. I checked the list of ideas and was surprised not to se it. So, does anyone here disagree or see a reason that naming would be bad? I think it would add a little more self expression to the game without needing a major overhaul of gameplay, I wonder what kind of names the pirates would come up with.....

Been suggested, despite not being on The List. It would be nice though.

I agree, it would be very cool to have a space to enter a ship name or a command (/nameship "name") that would add it, so that when they have you selected it would show, for example:

|"Ship Name"
|Orion Centuiron Rev C

next to your health screen.

sorry to double (or triple) post, I should have serched. But yeah lets hope that its finds it's way in sometime soon, mebbe after they get the massive cap ship working, I imagine that that thing is eating up their time at an alarming rate.

Agreed. Naming our ships would add a small but noticeable flare to gameplay. It would also be cool to have bounties based on ship name rather than player name, so that when you find the ship and see who the player is, it's something of a surprise.
