Yah, too bad it's only you and me on this one, that's why no one else comments on it.

I think I should just stick with the Ramora idea and let the Devs do the rest. I mean it would be could to have the Hammerhead and BlueFin produced but I thinnk the Ramora is my best bet.

Tsk, tsk, come now, let's not introduce spelling errors into ship names. We all know that the name "AppleŽ" is correctly spelled, but it is still a copyrighted registered trademark.

I have just checked the correct spelling on Merriam-WebsterŽ Online ( see http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=remora&x=0&y=0 ): It is indeed "Remora."

Just make the ship name "RemoraŽ," and copyright the correct spelling.

Otherwise, you'll have children watching their brothers/sisters/friends/parents over their shoulders going to school the next day and using the incorrect fish name in biology class. Let's not start that. "RemoraŽ" it is.

You could always just day that the designer of the ship was named "Ramora", but I see your point Deku, RemoraŠ it is.

I'd be willing to speculate that Guild is using the contemporary US Navy as the model for the relaitive sizes of their capital ship classes. I apologize if you consider this post excessively long, or a thread-jack, neither of these are my intent. I just wish to provide a functional fram of reference for the possible intended roles of upcoming capital ship classes.

The "SMV Nemesis" was considered a "frigate" whilst in development, it is now a "heavy assault cruiser" according to the Tuesday, March 15th news post.

Therefore (while this is speculation), it could be presumed that smaller capital ships of the frigate & destroyer classes will be introduced, as well as larger capital ships fitting the battleship/dreadnaught and carrier classes. Also, there may be variations in the cruiser class as well (i.e. light, escort, heavy, and command).
On this note, the frigate class might be of even more interest, given its current ASW role. A capital starship dedicated to locating/hunting stealth/cloaked ships (i.e Order of Akan) could prove especially useful in some situations.

EDIT: named-class type for carriers, frigate purposes

Yeah or it could be called a light battleship.
Either way the data proves all.
Plus the Devs could make many of these heavy assualt cruisers. So in evidence, vendetta warfare is being taken to another level: Big!

Oh yeah and thank you for the correction it is now "RemoraŠ".

i think an interesting ship would be a small fighter about the size of a centuron, that had the ability to make itself look like another ship. Esentaly the ship would have the visual image of another ship, but have the colision detection profile of a Centuran.

Psable uses;

decoy, you could have one pilet fly this pretending to be a Behemoth so that his centaur buddy has an easier time getting past pirates

The ship should probably require at least 6 in every lisence catagory, and cost about as much as a behemoth, to keep some level of controle over who flies them. or alternatively these could be the prise for finishing all the spy missions.
Confusion in CTC. you could have a wave of these "chamelian" fighters go in acting like Rags, untill the get fired on, then they mabuver like centrons.

primative ecm, if your centuron sized fighter looks like a behemoth than your oponent will be lazier with aiming his weapons than he should be.

Good idea, but if the colision profile was that of a smaller ship, the shots would go through and the cover would be blown

This is on a REVIVAL note:

Thanks for attaching the link to my forum Johnhaul. I apreciate it alot. By the way, the Remora MK III would be able to connect two other ships together via the Remora MK III. Remora MK II is the armoured version of the first Remora but just extemely better all around in the ways it can.
The Remora would look like a centurion crossed with a wraith.
