And once again it's time for more turbo power than your average behemoth, more speed than a really really fast thing and more danger than something that's not as dangerous as the Deneb Run.

There will be a BLAK sponsored race, The Deneb Run, on Sunday at around 1:00am gametime (According to my /time) in the game. This is the same time as the last race.

Rules will be:
1) Racers must race from Odia M14 through Deneb heading clockwise back to Odia M14.
2) Race starts in Odia M14 near the station.
3) Contestants must be within 100m of me before the start
4) No shooting before I start the race.
5) You die and you're out (so no /exploding)
6) All weapons and ships allowed.
7) First person to get back and dock at Odia M14 wins the first prize. (1 million creds)
Second person back gets 600k
9) Third person gets 400k

Put your name down if you're interested. I won't start it with less than 6 racers.

So now, who can beat _ghost_'s time of 26:55.

Technically folks, it's all about luck. Just plot (and SAVE your /navroute) a straight-thru course, use an IDF Valk with either no weapon or a LIGHT weapon, and only plot around the areas where there are ALWAYS storms. (Like Jallik, etc.)

Little more interesting now that there are infiniboost ships but they are much slower. A 240 m/s Valk will probably outperform over the long run.

I hope someone is still racing for TGFT.

An unusually spread race this week and _Ghost_s record still stands by a strong margin. Here are the results. It was surprising that there were no TD Hogs or IDF Valks in the race.

Congratulations on the winners of the race! It sounded very exciting with the announcers constantly giving updates and stuff. I wish I had made it but I got mixed up with the timezones and stuff. Oh well. Maybe next time.
