Just FYI: As of now, I have every expectation of being able to host tonight's race. However, there's a chance that real-life will call me away. I'll try to post in this thread if I'm not going to make it.

Announcing the results of The Deneb Run #51, sponsored by TGFT and EnB.

The Pilots
----------
Blue Streak: Itani, member of SSC, he is the winningest pilot in The Deneb Run, host of the Nation War events, newly retired host of the Corporate Sectors Run, sometimes announcer of The Deneb Run, and has done many race writeups for The Deneb Run.

Mick: UIT, council member of PA, he's a veteran racer with many top 3 finishes and four wins in The Deneb Run, including the last three consecutive weeks. He's also won the Corporate Sectors Run several times, and holds the current record time in that race.

Ion Storm: UIT, member of TGFT, this veteran racer has a win and has never placed outside the top 3.

Joyce Sanders: UIT, Commander of SSC, she is a very competitive veteran racer and has earned a win and many top 3 finishes in The Deneb Run.

Esson Lennenk: UIT, member of TGFT, he is also a competitive veteran racer and has already won The Deneb Run once.

Spaceranger: UIT, member of TGFT, this veteran racer tries valiantly and has a 2nd place finish, but more often than not he doesn't cross the finish line.

Stranger: Itani, member of ITAN, he is a veteran racer that, like Spaceranger, tries hard but doesn't often make it to the finish line.

Uncle Carburetor: UIT, member of TGFT, this is his second race.

The Race

[check here later]

The Stats
---------
Blue Streak | 29:10 | EC-107, FC, no weaps
Mick | 30:52 | Vulture MkIII, FC, no weaps
Spaceranger | 32:48 | Orion Hornet, FC, no weaps
Esson Lennenk | 35:52 | TPG Atlas X, FC, TPG Sparrow Blaster
Joyce Sanders | 36:12 | Orion Centurion RevC, FC, no weaps
Ion Storm | DNF | Orion Hornet, FC, no weaps
Uncle Carburetor | DNF | Corvus Vulturis, FC, no weaps
Stranger | DNF | Vulture MkIII, FC, no weaps

Interesting observations:

1. In a nice bit of symmetry, Blue Streak, host of the Corporate Sectors Run, won this Deneb Run using the exact same ship config that I used to win the CSR earlier in the day.

2. Continuing the symmetry, Mick took 2nd in both races.

3. I will be unavailable to host the Deneb Run for the next three weeks. I can provide prize money and a bonus to someone willing to host it, or we can just take a nice summer break.
