I had volunteered late Thursday night when SB mentioned that no one had volunteered to host the DR on guild chat that evening.

I used the time that was posted on the Google calandar. I did not set it, but I had some time sensitive things I needed to do this afternoon so I went with it. The other DR I host will begin at the usual times.

Official results from Deneb run #52.

Racers in order of registration.
*Miharu* Orion Hornet, FC, no weapons, *Miharu* LT/Clr of SSC.
*toshiro* Orion Hornet Convy Guardian, Fast Charge Batters, no weapons SoR
*Mick* vult mk 3 no weapons fc

*Blue Streak* EC-107, FC Battery, No Weps
*invisiblish one* Centurion w/ FC, no weapons, SSC
*Adrian Shepard* Warthog, [unknown battery and weapon load out]

The race started a bit late as Mick had to AFK and that gave time for Adrian to make it all the way from Deneb to Odia to get to the start line 'in time'.

Race started at 14:15:44

Race summary:
Blue Streak took the early lead through Latos and Ukari while invisiblish one was first to be elminated in Latos. Adrian Shepard was elminated shortly after in Latos as well. Mick, toshiro took the Helios path through Serco space. Blue Streak, Miharu, and Joyce took the Initros path.

When the racers converged in Dantia Mick had taken a 1 jump lead and would hold it all the way through Itani space. Joyce Sanders dropped out in Deneb D-5 when encountering a non-loading sector. Toshiro also hit a non loading sector, but relogged quickly and rejoined the race. By the time the racers had reached Edras Blue had whittled down Mick's lead to about 1/2 a jump. Mick met an untimely death at the far end of Edras. From there the racers were able to saftley come in the finishing order. No pirates were able to kill them to earn the 3rd place winnings.

Standings:
Blue Streak - 14:45:45 | 30:01
Miharu - 14:46:20 | 31:36
toshiro - 14:49:45 | 34:01
Mick - DNF | Made it to Edras H-15
Joyce - DNF | Made it to Deneb D-5
Adrian Shepard - DNF | Made it to Latos B-6
invisiblish one - DNF | Made it to Latos B-6

Thanks to everyone who participated in the event. Sorry for the very early start but I had some things I needed to do this evening. See you next week!

This was my last race, by the way. That school I started and my wife need more attention than this. I thank you all for the many races I've been in, expecially:

Mick - Probably my greatest competition ever
Screwball - For picking up the race
fooz2916, Epideme, Mecha Touriuas and Nerde Verde - For helping me make the freebus race completion
LeberMac - My earliest tough competition and great partier :)
And Dragon of Fire - The persistent one who left the limelight unfortunately

May the Deneb Run continue and prosper. I expect someone to beat my records, one day. But, let me have them for now, okay? ;)

- Erik "Blue Streak" Christianson,
Lieutenant of Sigma Shipping Company

OOC - yays, college and stuff....
