The racers:
Bauer (Serco, SAF)
Ecka Estenk (UIT, TGFT)
Mick (UIT, PA)
Naismith (UIT)
Sharingan (Serco, SCAR)
Swag Man (Serco, GRU)
Waldoze (UIT, TGFT)
yoda (Serco, SAF)
The final standings:
1st) Mick, 90p, 3M
2nd) Swag Man, 52p, 2M
3rd) Sharingan and Bauer, 26p, 500K each
5th) Ecka Estenk and Waldoze, 19p
7th) yoda, 10p
8th) Naismith, DNF
The notes:
A very aggressive tube race. Pilots loved to fire onto each other, almost ignoring the race itself. The causalty rate was very, very high.
Naismith dropped off the race at the second track. Waldoze didn't run the last lap in H5 ("The station"). Mick didn't get the full 100p stake as he was shot down in the first lap of H5. However, he's clearly the man to beat, at the Sedina tracks.
The race had some very close head-to-head's, as the final standings has clearly shown.
Thanks to participants, practice in the tubes (they might not be as entertaining as pvp, but for sure they are challenging), and see you all next week, same time, same place.

What do you mean it's not as fun? Of course it's fun!
The main point of this game, by devs' vision and general player understanding, is pvp. You're "good" at this game if you can brag you can kill others' ships.
For sure racing (tube or galaxy) is very fun, Mick. But perception of reality is more important than reality itself, thus racing in a combat game is considered a "second class" entertainment.
Now, if we want to debate that it takes a LOT of skill to properly drive a light fighter in a blue and gray hell of deadly pipes, be my guest. But this doesn't change the fact that there are far more players in NWs than in TRs and DRs combined.

Now, that's a no fun response. ;)
