However being "rascist" and saying a whole team is made of griefers, etc, is also bad form.
perhaps bitching should simply be kept to a minimum. constructed criticism all the way.

We are now up to 16 caps, red still nada. I think this prooves that you really need good teamwork for it to work, not just good individuals. Red has a lot of good fighters, but it seems no teamwork. And this is not about the number of people that help with the cap. We capped successfully with 5 people and the moment of surprise.

the problem is that 90% of reds' good fighters are pirates...

Here's something funny I got from Google when searching for "French military victories"...

French military victories. Did you mean: French military defeats? ...

It was probably unnecessary for anyone to mention the whole French fighting stereotype, but it is funny. On the other hand, I'll point out that the French played an important role in America's war for independence.

Electric27: "Almost all Americans are fat and lazy"

Nice generalization. To quote LL Cool J; don't call it a comeback.

Totally unrelated, but Asp tried to stop two days ago single handed a blue cap. The capper was escorted by 6 blues and was in 4, with 6 additional defense bots around and Asp still put up a fight. That's the right kind of attitude as far as flag defense is concerned :-)

Red does seem a bit empty lately it might be because of the recent prom nerfing and valk untouching.

The point I was trying to make was that America never had to live through the blitz or have their cities overrun by tanks and enemy troops yet they think they have the right to mock French defeats/surrenders when they don't have a clue what it was like for Europe in WWII. Most of them just sat at home tuting about this "European" problem and couldn't of cared less.

History is a tricky thing it can be twisted to suit a countries needs and America's history is pretty twisted.

Now, no more about America I find the subject quite distasteful.

Valk untouching??? We got brought down to 10k health! That's a big drop for us too! The only untouched one is the Maurauder. It has 8k more health than a valk, the same weapons and less agility. It can fight any valk to a standstill in the right hands. The prom is completely nerffed, but my suggestions for it are elsewhere.

Yes, the change of the prom gets noticed by hunter, but not the valk, noooo siry! Lets ignore the fact it lost 2k in health!

2k in health makes all the difference, .5 seconds of tachyon blasts to be exact.

Heh, and that makes such a difference if you can't hit it. Hull matters little in comparison to maneuverability.

Agility is key. In terms of weapons and armor the Valk is a fighter-attack ship hybrid, meaning I'd expect it's agility to fall in between the Vulture and Hornet. Somehow it has the agility of a tiny Centurion, though.

Really? I thought we got knocked down FOUR thousand in that release.
Jul 04, 2003 roguelazer link
Well, actually the "same agility as a Centurion" isn't permanent. As far as I understand, they WANTED to give the Centurion better agility, but the control system freaked out. Once that's fixed, the Centurion's agility will improve.

On this day, as we celebrate our independance, it would be prudent to remember the critical aid the French provided us in the American Revolution.

/me squirts everyone with French's mustard. "Look, no crust!"

Seriously... I notice that most of the time the people who complain about stuff do it themselves...

And Hunter Alpha? YOu realize that the class name for the Valkyrie is "Advanced Fighter", right? Well "fighter" IMPLIES small ports and high manueverablity, and "advanced" implies the same, even MORE so.

Simply put, the class name fits the shi fine as it is. Hell, it's STILL the lowest in HP for the specials, and it's lower than a Wraith, Ragnorok, or Centaur too. Two of which I see in common use, and both of which carry 2 large ports.

Ilen'a nasha'roe, Hunter...

While undocumented, I'd also like to add that the Marauder is less agile than it was before 3.1.6. Why they made it less agile beats me. The thing has six frickin' engines on it!
Jul 04, 2003 Suicidal Lemming link
And 16 frickin cargo slots.
And 3 small slots.

I'd also like to note:
Centurion, 1 engines, 1 weapon, very high maneuverability.
Vulture, 2 engines, 2 weapons, high maneuverability.
Valyrie, 1 engine, 3 weapons, very high maneuverability.

SO, less engines = higher maneuverability?

Riiiiight. =)

(what i mean by engines are the things you see on the ship, not equip the ship with.)

The Centurion has 2 engines and not only 1.

Technically its one engine, 6 exhaust ports
Sorry to burst your bubbles, but a car with 6 exhast pipes doesnt necessarily turn faster than a car with 1 exhaust port
