Err, not quite sure how this happened but I have been planning to subscribe for more than 1 month at a time for a while, and when this came out I decided this was the best time to switch to a 3 month subscription. So after I switch I still do not have access to the special CV...

I'm a newb, coming in with a key from MMORPG today, should I be able to see/get this ship?

I see one in the place after the initial training, but it's not purchasable...

I'm 2/2/-/1/- with enough credits, but it's still in red, with "Specially sanctioned personnel only".

It's possible that you haven't been registered as eligible for it yet. Give it a few more days and see if it becomes available after the next database crawl.

misterwolfie, did you apply the MMORPG.com key to your account? It should automatically grant you access to those ships, once the key is applied. Also, are you trying to purchase it from your home faction's capitol? If you're docking in another capitol, you might not have enough standing there.

Yes, I created the account with the key from MMORPG. I followed their link to here, created the account and put in the key when prompted, then I started the download...

The ship is at Armand's Reward, Itan K-11, which is the first station I visited after initial training. I believe it is my home faction - it's where I'm getting all my starting quests done.

I've noticed some other items dotted about which also say "Specially sactioned personnel" too. Some sort of rail gun was one?
It would be nice to see/know what prerequisites a character needs beyond their licences & creds :)

Well, the point is that you don't know, you have to do a little exploring to find out ; )
