public voice chat would also offer a lot of opportunity for abuse of all kinds, and be a lot more difficult to "police" since it's less clear who said what and there's less of a record.

I think sector voice chat would be a nice addition, that allows you to interact with people you see and create a community feeling (maybe this already exists? haven't used chat much tbh outside group tactics)

Things like buddy/friend chat, nation chat, or random "speeddate" chat could also be good options, but it's difficult to envision how something will be (ab)used in the wild and especially how to draw in new players without undue disadvantages for guild or for the players.

@Incarnate it's okay, I really enjoy the vc nevertheless, It enables me to talk to many other players and make friends rar.
