Rene, I'm sure people will still capture the flag even with a 15k bonus. Heck, I'd bet they'd even do it if there was no money involved. The point isn't the money, the point is teamwork.

It kinda sucks to be trading and then suddenly have a windfall of 150k based on events that you had no part in. As a newb trader it makes your own efforts trading for income seem pointless.

Phaser.

If you prefer a job as trader then please go ahead.

But I prefer to have another job, like it in the future will be. If I will be part of the military, then the chances of you seeing me trading will be slight at least. If I prefer to have a job as a professional capper, then 150k is my reward.

So Like I said, make it harder to cap a flag on your own. Make it needing at least 3-5 people witouth defenders. You can do this if you need to take out the npc defs and they wont respawn for a short while. The only reason why I had preffered to do the revers ctf is because it will make it so that you can take them out and still protect your newbies by lettign all the action happen in 1 other sector, that branches off from 9, somewhere in the middle.

It will be the fairest for all players, and most fun.

cheers

EDIT: It can later on also be used in the missions. So you hit 2 birds with 1 slap.

So will this be 400k per character or 400k total? Because I could very easily make 6 different chars and spread out a total of 2.4 million among them. (If I had 2.4 million to spread out that is.)

I think this has more pros than cons. I'm all for it. Itani will still be ahead, but just not by much. Thumbs up.

Incarnate, thank you. Could you delete all but one of their ships too?

Only 47 people have their characters' money sum > 400000 now. On the other hand, for instance, someone has just under 400000, and over 460 widgets stockpiled. So it's too late for this to be fair unless we also reset inventories, or simply reset excessive quantities of widgets.

edit: name removed, but it's too late. Sorry.

Now all thats needed is to add in a small upgrade to the prom, and its done!

I think that a total reset would be appropriate, perhaps giving everyone some starting capital(eg 10-20k), so that people who have just gotten on their feet wouldn't have to start with 0 again and the huge amounts earned by capping would go away.

Please, reset cash AND inventory. or as Rom said, full reset + 20K starting cash.

Errr... you probably shouldn't have told them about the reset beforehand. Ughh. See, I don't have a lot of money and I spent every cent on collecting ships for my garage. If the inventory is gonna be reset, I might as well start with zero credits.

=(

But... I suppose a 20k start with everything reset is the most fair at this point. It's up to you, devs.
