hmm maybe I should change my colors to RED.

Dunno Jes.

From the numbers alone, any more BLAK blue members joining the Itani side would make it even more unbalanced. I might bot up my serco char to sufficient levels to play for the red side or I can fly HC and shoot the itani side too. It's really no fun in a 27 vs 5 (as the numbers online is right now).

Serco still have the uber proms :)

12 players -- 4 Itani, 3 Serco, 5 UIT

well,

its not as if non serco don't use scps...

16 players -- 5 Itani, 1 Serco, 10 UIT

PS: not included me, and I don't use the bloody scp..., not to mention that these are th eoff hours. while the capship battle is more or less going to happen later on (with an abundance of itanis being present).

This discussion is getting pretty pointless. We will see how many guys are participating on either side and hopefully it will be huge !

It looks like the UIT will be a swing nation. Once again like so many times in CtC it could vary well be up to the UIT who wins.
Apr 29, 2005 Sun Tzu link
You know Borb, this is not CtC. They can win too and it is probable that they intend to. How annoying!
Apr 29, 2005 Borb II link
Yes, once again the UIT are trying to ruin every thing. :|

Hehe the cool thing is odds are those 9 serco are all fighters, 10 of the itani are traders/miners/n00bs, and 15 of the UIT are traders/miners/n00bs.

I think it will be fun to see who all shows up on sat.

Thank you all for partipating we had a great fight. Over 60 players in Sedina B8. The itani won the battle.
I'll give specific times for each cap ship as soon as i get a chance.

Again Great job all. And Thanks Sherpa for spawning the cap ships :)

..Besides the lag and the fact that the Protaris and Zelor broke cease-fire in Latos, this was VERY cool... there were points I couldn't even track a target, but kept firing randomly at any of the five-or-so hostiles within range... This was perhaps the first time that VO really achieved that *epic* feel for me..

...weekly event, anyone?
Apr 30, 2005 fprefect link
I actually did not experience the lag problems that a lot of people did, but it was definitely great. I think the Itani capship should spawn from Jallik, it really takes forever to get down to Sedina.
Apr 30, 2005 maj_armstrong link
Lag was intermitent for me, but in the end it didn't really make much of a difference.

I have second thurisaz. This did feel trully epic. This was probably the first time I saw bomber and escorts fighters on a large scale. Watching numerous squads bombers and their fighter escorts bombarding cap ships had me breaking out in goosebumps.

This should most certainly be a weekly event, what do you say sherpa and JestatisBess.

[04/30/05 16:46:13] 28b4f0[205]<Jestatis Bess> uit cap ship dead :)
[04/30/05 16:57:59] 0050f0[205]<Jestatis Bess> itani cap ship dead

Itani: 23:06
UIT: 10:20
Serco: 3:35

Again good job to all!!! I'll post a time for the next battle :) I just have to confirm with Sherpa 1st. But it'll will probably be the same time next week :)

Thanks to Joyce Sanders and Renegade ++RIP++ for keeping us all informed on the UIT and Serco Ship movements. And also slowing down both ships so they arrived in Sedina B8 within a few minutes of each other.

By the way, I’ve given out the prize money to the Itani’s. 100K each. If you haven’t received your money please message me in game.

Weekly works for me. If I can't do it I may ask one of the other Guides to step in.

For the next battle, don't forget Tokyo time. For the above times, that would have been as follows:

4am I (GMT +9) (Tokyo, Japan)
