Guild Mission:
We are here to help provide knowledge, understanding, and resources to the new pilots of the universe. We are here to promote the exploration of the galaxy and its many features and activities and not hinder those who wish to partake in it.

Guild Rules:
1. Treat others as you wish to be treated, although we do believe in playing how you wish, we do not believe in ruining the game for those around you.

2. We do not believe in the term 'noob' everyone at some point was new and needed guidance. As a guild we are here to provide a friendly structure to learn the basics of the game.

3. Do not misrepresent the Guild, your views may not be our views.

4. Enjoy the game and treat it as a game and not a life/death event.

5. Listen to superior guild members and council members.

Okay, I admit, my comment was a bit crass, but the intent was to say hello to another battletech fan. Sorry, thought you'd pick up on it.

Ah okay, not battletech, but Mechwarrior. thanks for the welcome in that case. The guild name was started back in the days of NetMech and I have tried to keep it alive through the years. Players join/grow/leave, but RFR remains. It was ran on both wow for about a year(horde).

Let me know if you have any questions or if you have any interest in possibly joining. i am looking at building a guild that has a mix of itani, uit, and serco players in it.

Didn't you apply to TGFT? I think you'll find that the player-base is so small that new guilds have very little chance of making it. A lot of the existing major guilds are just barely making it as it is. It's always best to try to join an existing guild, rather than forming a new one, especially if guilds already exist with the same mission. You sound kind of like PA/EnB/TNF/NEW/PAGA/TGFT. Even if you do manage to pull it off and maintain an active member-base, you will just be hurting the other guilds by taking away players that would have joined their ranks instead of your's. It would be different if you were making a guild with a role that is unique, but based on your description, that's not the case at all. VO only has the member-base right now to really support around 7 major guilds. Take a look at these links:

Don't take this the wrong way. I'm just trying to give you a heads up. All the experienced vets here can tell you that there have been countless guilds like the one you're proposing and very few actually make it. I would suggest joining PA or TGFT.

I appreciate the advice. Yes I did apply to tgft, and if it was not for the fact that they have a rule against participating in border skirmishes and ctc missions, I would be more than glad to join their ranks. I also do not see how competition is a bad thing. I do have some more ideas, but was just posting a basic starting point from which I will evolve the guild from. I can not say much about Pa, i do not know any of their members in-game and have not been approached by them. Sure if a guild will allow me to join and not at the off-set ask me to create a new character in their nation, then I very well may change my mind. My goal is two fold, create a new guild, and bring more people to Vendetta Online. I think this is a great game and has a lot of potential. It just needs more players to make it not feel so empty and dead.

At 10 a month it is a good price to get new players to check it out. However, from what i have seen of the current 'major' guilds they all have quite a bit of restrictions to your gameplay and it is frankly a little off putting. There are several very good players(not just skill, but personality wise) in all of them and there are some pretty nasty ones as well.

Even if I do not get a strong initial reaction I intend on building the guild and having fun with it. Here is my favorite quote: Even the grand canyon was formed one drop at a time.

I understand where you're coming from. However, I still think you should consider joining an existing guild. PA is multi-national and very active. As far as I know, they do not have any rules against BS, BP, or CtC. I'm sure they'd be happy to recruit you.

I'm a Lieutenant of The Vipers, SysError. Those links I posted have the active recruiting officers for each guild. I think for PA you should contact Tohasandra Chi or MiexonBionic, but I'm sure any of their members can point you in the right direction.

Look i am not trying to start a flame war, i am just looking for some other players that may not feel at home with the current guilds that are on here. That along with bringing new players is not a bad thing and seems odd that it is resisted on this game so heavily.

The guild site is live and active, although not completely edited to match up with the game it is ready to be used. There will be information posted in the coming weeks towards the lines of tutorials and towards the lines of plugins/bots for the game as i work on developing a few for guild trade purposes.

Well, either way. Impavid i would love to go do a hive skirmish with you sometime or some other event. I will withhold any judgment on your character from what others say.
