The only time I've ever seen good numbers of Serco nationalists was when RED was active. What RED brought to the table was strong, aggressive leadership. It was not always nice and was sometimes rather immature and annoying

Loved the quote!

I was slightly disappointed; you see everything I did was designed to be mean, immature and especially annoying. So I was sad that you used the word 'sometimes' in there.

Just for fun, I wanted to ask you and as an open question if you could post some examples of the stuff we did which you found immature and/or annoying about our leadership. If anyone has any contrast to the way SKV does business I would also like to see that.

People find it hilarious that I was rejected by ONE/BR1 because they think I'm a Westie alt.

Red Candy Man (that's "Red Candy-Man", not "Red-Candy Man")

Dont forget SKY; SKY rejected you too.

What is SKY?

You would've ragequit the guild after two days anyway.

What is the point of staying in a guild if there's no good reason to stay?

Maybe BR1 would've worked out.

That's just not true Patterner, I asked Red Candy Man to join RED many times and you declined repeatedly. I've always known who you are which is why I wanted you to join RED.

In case you don't remember let me jog your memory. I was the one who convinced a certain alt of yours to join FAMY and boy your buddies in TGFT loved that didn't they!

I wanted the same result which is why you can find repeated guild invitations in the RED logs from yours truly!

Being mean, immature and especially annoying takes no effort whatsoever. Taking pride in your success of those goals is just sad.

TRS is right, I declined RED (because of TRS). Apologies for my mistake.

I can remember being annoyed one time when it was 5 v 1 and your guys wouldn't agree to anything less than all five of you fighting me at once. Four proms and an SVG was a lot of armour to try to get through with 2 neuts (you were in a prom).

21,000(SCP) * 4 + 9,000(SVG) = 93,000

11,600(x1)

I stuck it out for 30 or 40 minutes then wandered off to do something else, probably to look for a smaller group.

It's kind of funny too because of the six of us there, I was probably only third or fourth best. I never understood the psychology of it. Any three of you could have beaten me, Two might have been a challenge depending on which two.

That's the only in-game example I can think of. I'm probably a lot less annoyed than other people because I turned off channel 100 years ago.

Huh, now you got me thinking about Cunjo. He had annoyance down to an art. For example, he's the reason we have the logout timer, he had a key bound to /explode to deny his enemies PKs. He said it was because we didn't deserve them. But on a good day he could be a hell of a lot of fun. I actually miss the guy.

"I stuck it out for 30 or 40 minutes" --- why? Out of the six, you ranked yourself 3rd or 4th.

But, I did learn something today... I've always seen you flying around in your dent and I had another assumption.

Aww man I miss Cunjo! And his buddy, Space Hunter was it? Those motherfuckers really knew how to be annoying enemies. At least they'd actually fight on occasion.

Also as long as we're collecting our favorite pathetic modern-day-red memories... I liked the time we actually had a good number of Itani and Serco on, ~5 of each in a fight in Latos around some Itan tridents. The Serco began their usual "it's not fair because you can repair in-sector, stupid hackers!!!!!" so I asked Itan if they'd be ok with taking the tridents out of sector, just to get us one good ol fashioned furball. And everyone agreed, "provided the Serco don't start claiming they made us move them," added EP (wisely)

I asked dirty? or someone if they would agree to that so we could just have normal, fun, fair, fighting. The official oh-so-diplomatic response?

"Suck a dick"

And of course within a minute the Serco had vanished to their stations & forums, whining their whine about Itan tridents while we twiddled our thumbs with nothing to do.

It really seemed to encapsulate the modus operandi of current Serco "leadership" They'd rather act like butthurt tweens and type a flamewar than actually play the video game they pay for

It was kind of fun beating the shit out of you guys. In any fair skirmish (Fair=1-2 less Itani than Serco) we would win. There was that one time you used the SVG Prom combination, and that's the only clear victory I can recall you winning without sheer numbers. Other than that, Arf, spidey, Goji, Harpo, some other people, and I would pretty much own anything with the Valk-Centurion combination. The only thing I'm angry about is you leaving and killing the nationalist scene.

Oh, and I miss shooting you guys with Harpo's turrets :(

lol, I don't really remember any good times with TRS. But, I was new when they abandoned bignasty.

What I hope happens is someone like ONE or RED, with experience, starts recruiting Serco again. Make an army of scp tanks already!
Jun 09, 2015 TheRedSpy link
I remember one time that you gave bignasty 56 pk's in one day at Pelatus C12, He seemed to be having a good time that day.

Tooting youur own horn again?
Jun 09, 2015 smittens link
Nah, tooting Bignasty's horn. Ore & others haven't actually played enough to have achieved any significant victories

[edit] Contrary to what you hear on the forums, where of course the louder reds have enough time "on trains" to post long fabricated histories in which dreams long dashed actually came true.

Instead of whining about the serco leadership from the itani side with an abundance of tridents and vet players, why don't you guys make serco chars and show them how it's done?
Jun 10, 2015 smittens link
I did! And had a good amount of success! The very first night I tried I had a full group of red noobs who couldn't wait to explore the mid/late game. The second night I had a guild formed. Unfortunately I couldn't play as much as a leader should, and Boda + one of the unstable Serco took over and things dissolved pretty quickly from there.

But it certainly is quite possible! It just will take literally one active semi-sensible player. If *I* could do it, even for a brief time, it shows how low the bar is set for "decent Serco leadership"... there are many here who can personally attest to the fact that smittens should never be in charge of anything ever :D

*I should note that are a number of active semi-sensible serco players... but none of them are nationals :/
