I'd like to keep the other thread to just results, but please post your thoughts, ideas for future Boomfest variations and tales of mass-murder here :)
Screenshots etc would be cool too.
Also, if anyone is able to film future BoomFests, that would be awesome too!

Oh sorry lol, I didn't know this was here, but gunner idea I do not think that should count as a kill just wounding an enemy as the restriction should be kept as a neutron turret.
ARF raised a good point, that being group size limits. I though the max group was 16, but ARF believes it may be 8. If so, I will need an alternate method to track kills. Any suggestions?
Two accounts with two different groups.
Apart from that, you could write a plugin and distribute it to those who wish to participate. This plugin would report to you when someone died or when someone killed another pilot. It could even keep the tally on its own, and you just issue a command to output the scores.

I think more groups might be the ticket. I'm happy to install a plugin myself, but I don't want it to be compulsory for others to have it to participate. TAD is re-subbed now, so I could run a second group from him.
Back in the (g)olden days, we had a similar event in Odia M-14 where the objective was to get the highest kill count in a certain time frame. At the beginning all names and their current total kills, pks and deaths were manually written down. and if anyone entered the contest at a later point, they'd have to wait until their stats were registered.
A plugin would greatly simplify that of course.

How about funding faille do you want funding for this event? :}
Faille I suggest as alternative is to find someone to count with you you may be able to do this by making plugin as well
Also I made participate in this to really wish I was there when you hosted it along time ago.....

Tripod, at this time I do not require funding, but feel free to offer additional prizes of your own if you wish. I may ask for donations in future, but for now it's not an issue. This event is not really supposed to be about winning big, just having fun and making pretty explosions.
I will try to show up to this pretty-explosion-making-session.
Damn that was fun Faille.
Yes, despite numerous deaths and just missing out on the Trident kill shot it was an excellent event.
Thanks for running this Faille

Yeah, it was great!
A few folks have asked if BBFs will always be held at 1600GMT. This was the time that best suited me, but things are in flux at the moment.
Is there a time that would suit more people? (please post in GMT, I have no idea what the assorted US/EU timezones etc are).

Weekends would probably be better than a Friday. I know I usually don't have free fridays anyways
Thanks for the video VR, just hope people don't think the real thing was a little jerky
