For the record, the type neutrality that TRI practices is a type in which our personal vendettas with others don't cascade to the rest of the guild. That is what was being done with this thread. If someone pisses us off in-game, we go about our day, building shit and trying to make credits.

I see the time has come that we must declare an official universal NAP, which can me signed by any guild COs who see it fit and worthy enough to be signed.

Why on earth would anyone want to build and trade for years just to be able to join and mess up TRI? Hakashis Sholus was the member of TRI who originally approached me about getting access for TRI members to Itan's key server. I told Hak to have a request come from guild leadership. He didn't make the deal but he started the ball rolling. Some twisted master plain to gain your trust no doubt.

So, I can see why ITAN has asked in the past to tone it back on the forums. Seems like you speak before you have any real knowledge of a situation.

I have no idea when you talked to anyone about it, but the first time it (discussion on access to key server for TRI) appears in my council forums was my post about it. That was months before TRI was added to the list. It's funny how you want to deny the idea that he had any value to the guild by taking credit for this minor thing yourself.

I did not say he was in TRI for years, I said (mockingly) that was spending his time as a merchant for years just so he could sneak into TRI for nefarious purposes.

Some information about TRI:

- We pride ourselves on being mature, professional players and we understand how easy it is for a single kill/death to spiral out of control and become a guild vs guild battle (See: SKV vs TGFT). Ultimately, killing is the main gameplay dynamic in VO. If killing wasn't a mechanic, this game would be pretty boring. We, TRI, will always be a target regardless of our neutrality. There is no need to get butthurt about it, cry about, heckle the killer in 100, or cry about it on the forums.

- A TRI member will NEVER attack you without consent. However, if you attack us, we reserve full right to defend ourselves.

I've talked to Hak and he knows that we voted and that I voted to kick him. He also knows that I will work with him/help him should I be available and he needs help. I hold no ill-will towards Hak. He made a mistake, but it was a big one. Had Hak joined our forums (as all TRI members are told to do) and read our policies page, he probably would have made a better decision. Had Hak channeled his frustration into a gauss corvult instead of a public post like this, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

I think the puzzling thing for me about TRI is, as with INV, the first reaction is to kick people out. Did you think we'd start a war over one angry RP thread? You could have described the relevant parts of your policy documents that he didn't bother to read and had him write once sentence here stating that he didn't know the policy and your commander would not have had to put on the act of pleasing the powerful.

You voted to kick him out, you must have come to the conclusion that he was not redeemable or not worth the effort. I don't think this helps to maintain a strong community. Paranoid or cavalier leadership keeps many guilds from thriving.

I am reminded how lucky I've been to have the current and past guild leadership that I've had.
