So, looking over stats to admire the pk totals of my favorite pvp players (dang I wish I could combat like these dudes), I could only scracth my head:
Estrian Prosis -- 0 pk's
Sieger -- 0 pk's
Nahin Lor -- 11,486 pk's
My own stats seem untampered with (lol not that I'm proud or anything :)).
Wtf is going on? Is there a systemic error in VO stats? Is somebody hacking the servers? Why are two of my most admired pvp players suddenly at zero?

I'm assuming you know what's going on, and are just poking fun at Estrian having the same punishment as Sieger, seeing as how this has been an active topic on the forums for the last week or so. But Sieger's stats got reset because he was caught inflating them at a level that was considered abuse. I would imagine Estrian's got reset for a similar reason, but I haven't seen confirmation of this.
Since I almost never read this forum, no, I have no idea what's going on ....

The only error is that they also both now show 0 deaths.

Huh, that doesn't make any sense. Estrian wasn't cheating to get PKs. He just sat in Sedina B-8, killing anyone who couldn't escape. Not the nicest way to do it, but its not cheating.

EP doesn't cheat, EP's the only PvPer I know who doesn't use F2P Alts to get 1000+ kills

We have a number of daily pk list screenshots on our website.
EP used to score average of 50-100 pks daily for the past year. When there were some fur balls, he used to score up to 150 kills a day.
I cannot speak for the time before I came back to VO though but I doubt, with his skill, he needed to shoot alts to rack up his pk count.

Of course he didn't need to.
You can be sure of one thing, the devs didnt reset sieger or EP pk count just based on forum whining or number of kill per day.
Inc already explained they were processing through shit load of logs and you can be sure they can see which character is killed the most and what account was used (IP Adress, Credit Card etc.).
EP, by protesting too vehementely on the Sieger case, brought the devs spot light on himself and got caught.
This is just an indication, that you guyz with your TGFT/SKV bullshit are starting to get them just a bit warm. Gratz!
And listening to ARF or Bojan i can only say

I'm assuming that the devs aren't being stupid about how they determine whether somebody cheated, and therefor if they reset EP's counts, he probably cheated at some point. It may not have been in the last year -- I think most of the rumors I heard were from a few years ago.
Remember that the devs have a lot of logged data to base this off. In particular there would be the accounts and IP addresses of the victims, and probably some data that would indicate how active the victims were, whether they tried to defend themselves or escape, etc. The lifetime behavior of an alt that just spawns, undocks, possibly warps to a new location, and then dies is very distinct from the behavior of an actual newb who is busy doing a bunch of other stuff, then gets station camped or shot down repeatedly at a wormhole for a while, then gets away or comes back later to do more of... whatever it is newbs do. Planning vengeance, perhaps.

Possibly, but it's likely they've put together a way to automatically identify suspicious behavior from the logged data alone and set that loose to generate a list of suspicious players who they then looked through by hand.
