Seems entirely appropriate - show up to enjoy the diversion of some unfortunates being mauled to death by lions, and wind up being tossed in yerself. Poetic, really.

I find myself agreeing with Dr Lecter (!). There is a bit of poetry in that snippet of historical color. Sadly it does not apply to VO. We are all the condemned, fighting for our lives in the arena,and what's more, we wouldn't have it any other way. Sure, we get worked up about this and that, and who said what and all, but that's just part of the fun of VO; its far more than just a space quake, its an immersive universe with as many sides as there are players. So get worked up, enmesh yourselves in a complicated stew of politics, flame at each other on 100 and gank each other wherever you meet. Lay giant minefields at wormholes in the off chance that your prey wanders by. But above all, keep it classy, because hey, it is just a game.

A-Dawg was a great interviewee, some great history in there and a little pot stirring too, loved it, can't wait for the follow ups with Lecter and Sheffield.
