A) You sound 140% leads bear-y than your handle suggests.
B) You can change the resolution in the settings. I leave it at 1280x720. It looks like you recorded at a lower resolution, which saves space but makes for a smaller image.

Alright. I saw the comments on top and figured I should stop now while ahead.
If you go off what you read in these forums there seems to be an air of elitism surrounding VO. Lots of negative comments in response to things that warrant nothing of the sort, and an attitude of "my clubhouse not yours". Keep it up Tripod, and do not feed people who talk crap, aka don't feed the trolls.
To the people talking crap, calm your tits and ignore this guy if you really don't like him. As a new player, reading all your nasty comments on EVERY SINGLE POST that Tripod makes has already left a bad taste in my mouth for this forums community (which reflects on the in-game community) and I'm sure that the elitist attitude has been noticed by more than myself.
That being said, I've had wonderful encounters with many members of this community while on these forums and while actually playing the game. Players are helpful, friendly and the in-game chat is a cool place to hang out and have a chat while mindlessly mining. But, sadly, this kind of bs back-and-forth being posted on what constitutes VO's face to-the-world is at best a knee-jerk reaction and a poor choice. At worst it is actively sabotaging any potential new player base that the game could draw in by giving them a false idea of what this games community is made of.

It's just the internet world, Rising Phoenix. Anonymity, lots of young kids, and lack of social skills are recipe for mass toxicity. If you think VO community is bad, I take it you haven't played any other multiplayer online games besides VO. It's actually better than most gaming communities. Much fewer 14 year old spoiled brats.

I am not new to the Internet by any measure. Nor am I new to online communities, MMO forums, and the like. Did you not read my post? I doubt it since I expressly mention my good interactions with VO players. It's not offending me, I'm stating facts. Childish conduct on the forums reflects poorly on the community. And I really do disagree with anyone who says "that's just how it is". Even if it's just kids with poor manners (I doubt that) they should be informed about the way that their actions reflect on the game in its entirety. If that fact is news to anyone then maybe someone else should have mentioned something sooner. Or, you know, just do nothing except heckle those who are willing to say something. That's productive.
You are hardly qualified to inform anyone "about the way that their actions reflect on the game in its entirety." And while you're qualified to tell them how you perceive the reflection of those actions...well, nobody much cares about your personal opinion.
