The BEST forum players!

Jan 24, 2016 VO Rankings link
our employees have voted and we are more than HAPPY to present you the official "the best forum players"-ranking of Vendetta Online!

this ranking is made in appreciation of those who spend precious time of their lives to be the best at the game that we call "Vendetta Online Forums". some of these people are true VETERANS of it because they spend more time on here than on the actual game!

1. joylessjoker/greenwall
2. Dr. Lecter
3. TheRedSpy
4. bojansplash
5. Pizzasgood/Savet

congratulations to all of you!

Gasp! VO Rankings employees are becoming naughty. This post alone broke a few policies. I'll name a couple.

1. Not role playing. Wrong forum.

2. Singling out individuals to mock them under the guise of winning a "contest". Also noteworthy is that everyone on the list with one exception is an enemy of TGFT, strongly indicating that this is a TGFT sponsored event, thus biased. Oh dear oh dear!

VO Rankings STRICTLY disagrees with you, almighty victor of forums!

1. Not role playing. Wrong forum.

it is indeed role playing! there is a game going on in the VO forums which is called "Vendetta Online Forums"-game. are you implying you did NOT know this? you have won this without knowing that you were playing?

we really have to consider putting greenwall a rank below you. you can win without knowing that you play.

Singling out individuals to mock them under the guise of winning a "contest".

we do not mean to harm anyone or mock them. this is a serious appreciation of long term forum veterans. maybe we created this with a little wink but never intended we to hurt anyone. you seem to be a pretty sensitive almighty victor!

we hereby apologize to all who may feel insulted by this post!

everyone on the list with one exception is an enemy of TGFT

the way by which we picked the winner is based on activity in the forums and general forum skill. it is not our fault that TGFT is not good at playing the forums. why do these skilled veterans always have to look down on others??

I have to disagree with the award order for the following reasons:

1. Joyless and greenwall attacking each other on the forums isn't rely "good" so they can't be the best by that measurement.
2. TRS and lecter actually post useful intelligent things, but are both so impressed with their own intelligence that they really aren't playing, it's more like masturbation that we get to watch.

With at least 3 positions vacated, Rin and I would like our trophy or medal for placing in the top 3.

I appreciate the award, but I am going to respectfully abstain from attending the awards ceremony in light of the absence of the lack of any true Itani nationalist in the list. Next year I would suggest VO Rankings look at improving the diversity of its voting system.

Translation: you refuse to attend because bojan will be there.

I personally would have put Pizza / Savet in the top two positions. They tend to have well thought out and meaningful contributions wherever they post. And to be honest, the whole Joyless / Greenwall thing was old a long time ago. If you are only looking at recent postings, then maybe Lecter, Bojan and TRS could round out the next three. I'm biased of course from mostly frequenting the suggestions forums. Though I think The Lazy DJ guy (whom I don't know) seems to be a good contributor here on the Role Play arena.

All in all, the only rankings I agree with are Pizza and Savet making the list, though they should hold the #1 & #2 positions between them.

I agree that this does not belong in RP as it does not pertain to in-game events. Off-Topic will be a suitable home.

A case could be made for implied mockery, though there is room for the opposite perspective - that the OP enjoys what those on the list bring.

I'm a fan of the number five. It's big enough to be interesting while still small enough to not be overbearing. Doing math with it in base ten is simple. It's prime. The word five includes a V, which is a cool and pointy letter. And in Roman numerals, five is a V, making it one of the simplest and coolest Roman numerals -- only the numeral X is cooler, and really that's just two Vs put together.

Rin, seVen contains a roman numeral 5, while five is missing an i. I would have to argue that the roman numeral 1 is superior to all, since you can use the straight line of an I to build both a V and an X.

Pretty sure you'd need to review postings from 2005 on forward to capture all my contributions. Of this list, BJs is the only one from that era...and he's just boring.

Hey, I have a great idea, why don't you all post links to what you think is your best display of forum prowess? Between my indefatigable opinings and insurmountable logical wizardry and Joyless' meme factory / masterful baiting, I doubt any of you can top us! We are a force!

Faceof should probably win for having inspired this actual bit of poetry:

the autumn stars blaze
the sated greyhound warps out
emptiness of space
