This thread didn't deserve to be resurrected because if this ship was released, everyone would hide their tridents. We don't want that, we want more trident wars!

serco has the prom and its very OP, it also goes really fast despite its mass and armor. Other factions should have a similar ship like the Hellfire Ragnarok Heavy Bomber. +1

I think the point of this ship was to have a better platform for launching avalons at hacs, connies and levies. I don't see anything about it that would make it any more dangerous towards class M's than the standard rag. Nor is it some sort of competitor to the prom. The ragnarok is a bomber, and as such should be universally available, albeit sold in limited locations.

I recommend that this ship be limited to only core serco and itani systems in their mk3 variant. They're obviously too powerful in that variant as valk x1's consistently are killed by me in it. And I suck, so that means it's crazy good, because the valk x1 is stupid balanced against other ships in a way that makes no sense in any logical interpretation of reality.

What one were to make a new variant 50% larger with three ports and 30k armor. It could have three large, one small and three turrets, two of which would be foreward focused and the third to the rear. It would be able to fly straight enough for bombing runs with avs, but be able to mount offensive attacks against other foreword targets at the same time.

I think making it wider is a better idea. In the same way they flattened the X1, presumably they could just stretcth the ragnarok frame to make it wider. The increased exposure could eliminate the absurd idea of making it even slower than the rag3.

Make it a totally new ship with a modern model and texture job. I don't care. What's important here is that Vendetta deserves a proper heavy bomber with turrets and enough firepower to scare a Teradon.
