Specialized non-weapon ports
This suggestion is a continuation of an idea draugath had here
Make a new port type for non-weapon items like scanners, spoofers, radar extenders, jammers and blockers. This allows for some (not all) ships to have the possibility to add said items without sacrificing weapons. This also allows for ore interesting new addons that can add more interesting new strategies to the game.

You also apparently didn't read that Incarnate doesn't like specialized ports.
