Greeny, you are on 1 by default, and you cannot join 100 till you have left training, unless it is a new alt on the same account you can only see 100 chatter. I dunno where Xeha gets his info from but it is wrong.

I begrudgingly agree with greenwall on this.

-1 the current vote mute and ignore functions work just fine

no yoda, i said you can see 100 and 1 with a new char, affecting them too! i didnt say newbs can instantly spam on 100... no idea why wally came up with that.

Its funny that most of the one saying the system works fine are exactly those that only pay at times where there are enough people to pass a vote mute. Feel free to provide another solution/suggestion tough.

If that's the case Xeha, then I'm a proponent of not allowing them to see channel 100 without having to first join it.

wow at this discussion. i'm f2p myself and often regret that i can't mute. here's an example of a user abusing 100 with subscribers failing to /vote mute due to lack of numbers. i sent a report already but feel like it helps the discussion to post this.

[Your example does not help the discussion. Deleted. -Whistler]

/ignore "player name"

I removed the names in some of the posts to decrease drama. If you want to report someone, please open a ticket, but don't do it in the forums.

I would also like more Guides. I am not able to be on when most of this is happening.

Hashtags don't work here....or anywhere really.

Hash tags work with the original non-google search.

I pay even when I do not play Xeha, and I still think /ignore works in most situations. Sure, there are a few times when /vote mute is more suitable, but generally /ignore works just as well. Unfortunately history shows us that with more player moderation powers comes more abuse of said powers. Like when I got /vote muted for not even talking. (and it lasted 24 hours then too, we have a certain trade guild to thank for the reduction to 2 hours, which isn't really a punishment at all)

That is the problem with community moderation; we cannot all be trusted to not abuse it, like you pointed out above with your 32 free accounts... Support tickets are probably the best bet in the circumstances when /ignore is not enough. Send the devs a chat log which is time stamped. Sure, they might not be able to hand out punishment right at the time, but they can after the fact. (and we can be 100% certain of an impartial judgement too)

While i agree with you yoda, i dont think that sending support ticket helps. The devs need to spend time to process them and if the offenders get banned, they just create a new account and start over. In this situation we'd be kinda spamming the devs with supptickets and wasting their time.

The devs can IP ban repeat offenders. Use the tickets please.

Also +1 The British time zones are generally empty of subbed players.

Yea, we need this. More and more f2p mobile people are starting to spam or do religious fanatism on 100 lately. There is no way to get em muted currently.

Thanks for bumping this. I kinda gave up on this one when Whistler ninja edited the starting post with a sneaky "Nope - Whistler" thing and then told us to use the support ticket function, ignoring that such "IP-bans" really rarely happen.

I saw some of the crap today. It was horrible. But I suppose we have to wait for it to get super tragic until the devs do something...
