The Three Cap Ships you see every day.

What i want to see when the cap ships are relised: three different types of cap ships.

one: the proposed idea already in place

Two: a Transport ship, that has a Max speed of 210 (come now its a cap ship) but a Thrust of 30 and no Turbo (cap ships should have no turbo) the Transport ship should have 1 S Port for a Scanner, one L Port for a Shild Array and 150 CU of storage. a starting mass of 5,000 and an armor of 10,000 (or 2,000 less then the current cap ship.)

Three: a Mining cap ship, this ship is equiped with 5 L ports a Storage of 100 and a max speed of 80, it has only 4,000 armor and a Thrust of 40. it does have a S port for the scanners.

All of these ships should come out at the same time. in a perfict world. but because this is not a perfict world and it is in striff, one can't expect them to come out at the same time.

in reality, the first cap ship will come out, the one that we all want. then after SERCO gets its bugs out and the world continues its war, the other nations start to copy SERCO'S ship, BUT there ships look different. i mean face it, each nation has there own idea of fearsome.

the next cap ship to be relised, the "pg longdistance 33r5" will have the same controlls and desighn spec as the first but it will be elongated and it will have cargo bubbles. three of them. it is (two).

then after the demand goes up, then the serco will creat there third cap ship, the x301 miner. it is the ship that will revolutiponize the mining idastry (three)

well there you have it, the second par to my first idea on making people gather things to get there cap ship

A cap ship with an armor of 10000hp? 30 thrust? S- and L- ports? wth? The old cap ship had ~700000hp and used its own weapons turrets, as opposed to ports.

agreed, the specs are not quite what they need to be, though the idea of different type of cap ships is good.

Aye, it's more of a largish centa you got in mind there. I want to see a cap ship that can hold at least 2000 CU of cargo. :)

ok so the figures are small, they are just ideas in development, but at least you got the idea.

The cap ship looked to be at least ten times as long as a centaur. It's volume would be much, much, MUCH higer.. a mining cap ship would have beams all over the place. It would be pretty interesting to see.. it drives itself into a roid field, activates beams, and proceeds to draw ore from 20 roids at once.

Cap ship was about 720 "game-meters" in length.

Hive Queen is about 10-12 Centurions in length, making it about 100-120 "game-meters" in length.

I agree. The cap ship and variants should be kept as super ships, not bloated centaurs that look cool.

I also have to pick a fight with letting only a certain nation get each cap ship. If they do introduce different variants of the cap ship, I want to be able to buy them without having to turn traitor and bring up my Serco standing. :-)
