Heh, somehow I think the Vulcan's sound is a bit fast to fit the game's gatling.

I think the A-10 has a slow rate and high rate of fire. I may be wrong though. I'm sure there are slow rate vulcans out there. But whatever. I'm sure each weapon will have an appropriate sound.

Btw, did anyone notice the smoke coming outta bots when they're hit with the gatling gun? Nice touch, Guild!

Ok, here is an idea for trade ships with 2 large ports to keep pirates at bay.
Robotic Strike Fighters, it requires a dockiong bay, 1 large slot, and a control array, another large slot.
There can be 2 strike fighters in the docking bay, you can buy another strike fighter but it will eat a small bay, these fighters will have 2 small weapons slots and there own weapon.
The weapon will shoot 1 per second and do 200 dmg, the stike fighters will have 2 of these, dealing 400 dmg per second, 5 strike fighters (3 small slots 1 docking bay) on a prometheus will deal at max, 200*2*5=2k dmg per second, if you leave range of the enemy the fighters will power down and lose all data it had, if anyone with a control array comes near they will start up again, there radar signal will appear again, and will be under the command of the ship, control arrays can control 3 fighters at a time, the docking bay will boost this to 5 fighters, if you dock any undocked fighters will shutdown again, if a fighter is left adrift for 10 minutes it will dispose of itself.

Just an idea, it allows trading vessels to be safe without using the infamous avalon torps, the torp that kills your self if you are close enough.

Too much EVN for SL... :D Actually, that would be really cool, and could make use of the AI code that just got put in... Maybe there could also be differing types of them. For example you could have a fighter one, a bomber one, a trader one (holds cargo for you), etc...

But the one thing different from EVN, you can have fighters even if you don't have a docking bay, only 3 but still, thats impressive if you have avalons in the other one.

Actually, you can launch your fighters, sell off the docking bay, and they'll still be there. Alternatively, you can just capture a viper (pesky little things) or whatever escort you want.
