POLL: Why did you chose your nation?

We've been speculating just recently why one nation is picked over the others. And i was wondering if we could do a quick poll on the new players.

Just answer the following:

1. What nation was your first character in?
2. Why did you chose that nation? (Nation descriptions, colors, etc...)
3. If you've made a new character, that you are currently playing, was it the same nation as your first character?
4. What nation was your most recent character?
5. When did you join vendetta online? (I'm really interested in recent users, less then one month, but everyone feel free to reply.)
6. How did you here about Vendetta Online?

Thanks for answering in advance. Maybe this will give the Developers some insight why some nations are picked.

1. Red Team (now Serco Dominion)
2. The colour red is one of my favourites. And blue is/was (almost) everyone else's.
3. Same nation.
4. Serco.
5. 1Q/2003
6. IMG

#6 is available to the devs directly via the Account Info page. I imagine they know where they get their players from.

1. UIT
2. Basic description. As an EnB refugee, the Itani sound like the Jenquai, the Serco like the Progen, and the UIT like the Terrans. Since I loved being a Terran trader in EnB, I chose UIT.
3. Of my six chara, four are UIT, one is a Serco and one is an Itani. An UIT is dead (Jex Kerome) and the Serco and Itani see play like maybe once every six months. I prefer to alternate between my traders and my gag pirate.
4. UIT
5. November 05, like a week after the game went Gold.
6. Read about it in EnB refugee/EA assassination plots forums.

1. UIT
2. Wanted to be an Itani loyal UIT. Thought it would be more interesting than just an Itani.
3. Changed to Itani after the wipe due to the fact that I had to sit and watch if other UIT were attacking my allies. I couldn't assist because of FF.
4. Serco
5. Just before closed beta ended.
6. An old friend from EnB (the game, not the guild =P) told me to check it out. I stayed and he didn't.

1) Blue Team (now Itani)
2) I looked at the ships available to me, and picked the Blue team because I liked the Centurion's look. Keep in mind that when I joined, you picked a ship and USED that ship on that character forever--you couldn't change ships. Also, the current model for the Prometheus didn't exist yet. Also, the model used for the Prom at that point was this, so I did go with what I thought was the coolest ship at the time. I would have probably picked the Red team if the Prom was as it is now.
3) Yes. I have one Serco and two UIT, but my main is Itani and probably will remain so.
4) Itani, made for the testing of the new tutorial missions.
5) September 22nd, 2002. Account created at 11:28AM Central Time, first logged in around 1:30PM in the afternoon that day, also server time (I have the errors.log file from that first install, which is how I know).
6) Friend of mine from middle/high school showed me the game sometime in August, but I didn't have a computer of my own to play it with until September. They don't play anymore.

1. itani
2. first on list, blue color, description didn't imply murderous brainless savagery
3. same nation, for continuity with a long story line i had
4. serco; quickly abandoned because the current serco population couldn't give a rat's ass about unity and teamplay.
5. ~ dec 2004?

1) Serco
2) I thought the Vulture looked really cool in red, and that was the ship I preferred to fly.
3) Serco, because I want to keep the count as high as possible.
4) Serco.
5) 6/7/02
6) I did a search for games in beta (although officially it
was just a test bed at the time).

Serco are NOT evil or warlike - unless their civilians are repeatedly massacred and attempts at retaliation are blocked.

3. No
4. UIT. It was too hard being in the minority and trying to fight against the odds. I got tired of being abused as a Serco.
5. about a month.
6. EVE combat sucked. I googled for an alternative.

1. Serco (can't say Itani because I almost instantly re-rolled)
2. First I made my char Itani because of the description of light weapon combat over heavy armor, then I found out that almost everyone was Itani, so I rerolled Serco because 1: I foresaw many newbs called "BladeMasterX" or something in Itani and I wanted a challenge. Also another reason why I changed my mind so quickly was because the Itani sounded like hippies from the description.
3. I make many alts and often alternate between playing them, my fav right now is my UIT pirate.
4. technically, a Serco gag character who's named after a Strike Force (+ Random Name)
5. I technically officially joined up in like.... late '06 but I had started my account in about like... I would say... November '06
6. I was actually searching the intarweb for a good downloadable MMO that my extremely old mac could handle and stumbled across someone talking about VO on the mac games forums or something of that sort.

I don't really know why people have numbers and stuff, since I can't be bothered to actually read this thread, but I first joined the blue team because it was the default, and stuck with it for a while, because it had a few cool people in it. Then someone said I should switch over to red, so I did. I'm an agreeable person like that.
