I WANT A DIVIDER SHIELD AS A NEW WEAPON! A divider shield is a shield that can fold to reveal a beam harmonica and has some extra thrusters. A beam Harmonica is 13 linked beam guns. here are some sites with pics,

and i don't know where the other 6 beam guns are but i think the the outside 6 rectangles contain 2 guns each but i am not sure

Couple more question, will that auto-aim feature still be in the commercial version of this game?

Though a lot of hardcore skilled-based players will complain about this. ;)

Also, will the reputation system with other factions kick in before stress test begins?

I'd be against having autoaim turned off completely with the current aiming system. The wobbling of the reticule is just unbearable on some of the medium/heavy configurations. A Freespace style mouse lock aiming system may solve that problem though. But I doubt they'll have one in place by final release. Unfortunately the suggestion was simply put under consideration and never got any further than that.

well if you are a botter that uses a missle and energy weapon combo you should be used to no autoaim

Oh yes, I have tottaly forgot about guild/squad system instead of using clan tags.

Whats going to make me wonder:

Since specials are rumored to stay in game (at release), what use will the Prom have? Hopefully the system balances enough so the prom can take out other ships easily.


Now I can't wait for this new warp/transport system, and how it will work out... and exactly what 'factors' are going to affect your warping/transporting ablities.

In Progress says Soon(tm). But I'm worried because release is so soon and I've heard zip.

When is release? Summer? Which could mean September. That looks like two monthes off. Close, yes, but it's not like they're going to release the new universe the day of release or anything.

Don'r be worried. "Soon" can now be said to be "very shortly".
