I've noticed that less and less people are actually playing. I myself dont even have the game installed at the moment, mainly because it's not actually fun to play anymore. What's going on?

There's no content, and even the devs have said it's boring as hell to play right now. Hopefully once they get more missions in and re-open the test to sign ups, things will be more fun.

We need more people, but we need more content before they'll come and stay. So .. soon, I guess :/

Its an RPG but without any RPG elements right now. IE you cant fight somebody without risking faction loss anywhere near a station. And yet its lacking RPG elements such as crafting, rare items, and exploration. And wost of all no major bugs! All things to come in future versions (except bugs :P) but right now its just not fun to play. Considering our options of play are kinda limited to trade, bot, or wander around looking for that weapon we know we have access to but can't find. There is no doubt in my mind that it will become much better as more RPG elements are introduced. But that takes time.

The Vendetta Test is Dead, All Hail the Vendetta Test!

Yeah, the forum has more active players than the test server these days. Obviuosly interacting with other players was the main draw, interacting with AI (missions, botting, leveling) just doesn't cut it for most.

ed. I noticed the name change, but the quote doesn't work if you change the name. Poetic license...

Correction.

The Vendetta Test is Dead, all Hail the Vendetta Beta!

Didn't you notice the name change?

I hope the guild system goes in first before the test get opened up to the publics thus I hate seeing clan tags next to the character names. It's a lot more hassale to handle with in massivly online multiplayer games than in non massivly online type games like first person shooters.

Patience. All the newest features were added in a "stripped-down" version to simplify tweaking and bug-fixing. It's not terribly exciting at the moment, but when the features are enhanced and some of the suggestions are incorporated we'll all be back on.

i mentioned that before...the most glorious days of vendetta have been those with ctf...ppl actually identified with their nations and almost everyone was willing to help in a joint effort. However, it won't work (unless you make the flag system-wide visible on nav screen) in this vast universe. Actually, I don't see the point in having "nations" when everybody is basically doing missions on his own. So what are nations good for anymore? The test turned in a direction i do not like... i feel the obligation to state this despite your comment fm

Right now there's a grand total of four people online now. But when stress testing begins and when there are real NPCs to interact with (ones that actually fly around) and they're capable of traveling from sector to sector, the party will begin! Although I still think it would be cool to have territorial wars between nations and factions. Ahh well, let's wait and see...

I've been on working on my cargo list from time to time. other than that, not much to do so I've been hanging in the forums and otherwise killing time. Just waiting for content update and stress test.

when the next update comes, there's going to be a surge of online activity.
(I've been thinking "I'll go online when there are more players"... but if we all thought along those lines, lol the point is m00t.)

LaMas, the missions are going to be enhanced quite a bit. Missions are going to require teamwork and interaction. That's always been the plan. CTF was just to entertain players until the real stuff starts to show up. Your comments are appreciated and well-taken, but I have to tell you that you are complaining about the furniture before the house is built.

Im waiting on content, nothing more nothing less.

But it will come "Soon"

Yes, there are less testers on atm but that is to be expected. As Officer Bar Brady would say "Nothing to see here, people". Most of the major bugs have been identified and slated for removal with the next release and those that don't like boring cargo or botting missions are sitting back, waiting for more content to be infused into the game.

I actually like the wide open spaces so, I plan on enjoying it while it lasts. :)

I do manage to see almost everyone that comes on though...seems my home is a well traveled sector.
