The question is, were are the players and the guild heading? It seems at the end of the day that all players just want to go to b-8 for some ego-polishing.

Hey, they sure do their job. From all guilds, thats the one I see always a few grouped together, and they do what they say they'd do, shoot itanis and UITs on sight.

Just a hint, in a game you can mix RP and RL, so you don't have to be a dick just because your role in RP is to be one.

Another guild I usually see one or two members together. Some good fighters, and well, they do seem to do stuff, not just sit there.

Now here are busy guys, they actually trade and don't have that desperate need to polish their egos in pvp on b-8, at least I don't see that often. They could really get a lot of action if they hired escorts more often, it would be quite fun. That of course if we had more people wearing their pirate costumes.

I don't know, just kinda feels we could have more fun than just hang around in b-8

ST6 is heading some place, but due to the loss of Ghost all ST6 official actions have been frozen pending investigation, and it's members placed under heavy surveillance.

Hmm, i dont feel the need to discuss where im headed, or where CLM is headed either, im sure others tell at least UPN's story for him, and well, most the members of CLM dont trade for standing, they just take missions, and load the cargo they already had in a station, and well, it didnt get there by itself.

Some CLM members do frequent B8, simply for PvP training, and a bit of fun, I will rarely be seen there, and can often be found running about after some trader somewhere...

(maybe when theres more than 5 traders online at a time, CLM will have more to do but hang in B8, asking this question while the player base is so low is silly)

Perhaps we need a capship battle again... those are fun...

Yeah, and they're a learning experience too.

Good questions Cablito, I have a nasty hunch this is partly explained by channel 100 and how everyone ends up knowing the enemy. Once they know the enemy then there is no enemy.

Borb, you of all peeps also know that the "immersion" into the "role" is important too... and how others react to that chosen role...

Playing an Alt should be immersing into another personality - there are too many Alts that are played just like the primary (I know, I suck at Alts for that very reason). You two - on the other hand - are two of the few that I've seen actually able to maintain a role that is totally different from a primary...

And then, as you said, if the alt is discovered (or freely conveyed) - it seems as though others have difficulty in maintaining the differences in the chars... they go back to being the dominant role in the eyes of the cast.

Personally, I make every attempt at interacting with chars based on the role they have chosen - sometimes it is easy... and sometimes it is difficult.

I've been on my path for some time, and have not strayed, Kill as many sercos as I can, by any and all means necessary. Best place to find them is in B-8 due to the CtC cargo.

The game just does not have enough players to have any true goals other then ego really, and the missions are lacking severly so what else is there really to do but fight amongst each other?

I just learned that 100 is general use and channel 300 is supposed to be for in-char RP. (Oooh!)

I can hate, really I can. I even have a sneaky goal that I'm pursuing at the moment! I promise to hate the sercs more and dehumanize them as much as posssible in the near future. I think it'll require more posters. Propaganda Posters are fun.

Problem is if you talk on 300 you are mostly alone...noone ever uses 300 for anything, and the rest don't have it turned on...

/me has 300 on all the time...noone has said one little thing yet...
