9th Corporate Sectors Run (Restarted)
Welcome to the Corporate Sectors Run, reborn. This is a shorter, more fast paced race as compared to the Deneb Run. This race takes place on Saturdays at 5pm and 9pm EDT (9pm GMT and 1am Sunday GMT), alternating with the Deneb Run. So if the Deneb Run is using the earlier timeslot, the CSR uses the later timeslot, and vice versa.
Once again, the rules are:
1) Racers must race from Odia M14 through Ukari, Union space and Edras, ending back in Odia M-14. Refer to the map if you have any questions. http://makchuga.tejat.net/uploads/CSRracemap.png
2) Race starts in Odia M14 near the station.
3) Contestants must be within 300m of me before the start
4) No shooting before I start the race.
5) You die and you're out (so no /exploding)
6) First person to get back and dock at Odia M14 wins the first prize. (1 million credits)
7) Second person back gets 2nd place prize (600k credits)
8) Third person back gets 3rd place prize (400k credits)
9) All ships setups are allowed.
10) Docking along the way to repair is allowed.
Also, an additional 500k goes to the first person who can break the current record. So 1st place can potentially get you 1.5 million credits!

MiexonBionic - Union EnB member, first time racer
Kenjara - Union EnB member, first time racer
Aleksey - Union, first time racer
Lebermac - [Itan] leader, the best all-time racer in the CSR and #2 in the Deneb Run

And with the firing of AGTs, the racers took off. They must've been really jittery because two of the racers didn't even go until six seconds after the guns fired. MiexonBionic was first to Odia B-13, followed by LeberMac and Aleksey. kenjara brough up the rear. By the time they had entered Sedina, the order had changed up. LeberMac had claimed the first position, with miexonBionic righ behind him. Kenjara had pulled ahead of Aleksey.
The positions changed very little. leberMac remained a solid first, pulling almost three systems ahead of MiexonBionic at one point, who was slowly but steadily inching farther from the last pair, securing second with a two jump lead. But the most excitement from the night came from the battle for third place. Aleksey and Kenjara had hit multiple storms in Ukari and Arta Caelestis. This let Kenajara pulls ahead and take third from Aleksey. Somewhere around Nyrius, though, Aleksey had regained third as Kenjara recieved his share of storms to slow him down to a crawl.
Aleksey was racing ahead, Kenjara hot on his heels as they entered Edras. Aleksey plotted around, attemtping to avoid storms. A few tense minutes passed by without a report from either of them until Alekesey finally pinged in from Edras H-15, alive and well, but hitting a plethora of storms instead of avoiding them. Kenjara, by a cruel twist of fate, had gotten his navigation computer rotated ninety degrees and headed the wrong way before heading back on course. Aleksey retained his lead, though and pulled in for third. Kenjara eventually docked for fourth.

This version of the race is not as long, so I dunno about the times. This one was from Odia M-14 to Odia M-14. The last version of the race was from Helios B-14 to Helios B-14, including I think (not looking at map now) 2 more system jumps? So I think we should start a new timing run for this race.
