Small detail, but if you /buddy invite someone and they accept, your screen under "Comm -> Buddies/Group" will not update right away. Even though you will have a new buddy, the new buddy does not appear under your buddy screen. I ran into this a couple times when mentoring new and returning players. Checking or unchecking the "L"ocation radio button has no effect. This only happens to the one who sent the buddy invite, and relogging fixes the issue.
