is it just me, or does the charged cannon do the same damage when using a heavy battery as when using a fastcharge?

i loaded a maurauder with 3 charged cannons, then tried hitting orun collectors first, by draining a FC all the way down, and firing, then by draining a heavy battery all the way down and firing. there didnt seem to be much difference in damage done.

am i not understanding something?

It has a max damage cap.

The charge canon charges to full capacity in like I don't know 7 seconds? It keeps draining the battery after that for about another minute but adds no additional charge.

Charge cannon takes 3 seconds to reach max damage assuming your battery doesn't run dry by then. It takes 13 to stop draining all together. And yeah, it charges to the same damage amount regardless of battery type

it says max damage is 3400.

now, i know that three shots from a gauss cannon ii, which is 1100 damage, will kill an orun collector.

so the orun collector has less than 3300 armor. yes?

now, i have 3 charge cannons fully loaded, and they only take an orun down to like 10 percent health? whats up with that.
