This has become a little frustrating recently, I've got turbolock on, (I do use tab for regular boosting), but if I open up a chatwindow and attempt to autocomplete it ends my boost. This makes chatting in combat situations a little dangerous.

Tab is your regular turbo, and something else is your turbo lock? I use tab as my turbo lock & have no problem using tab in chat. But when it was normal turbo it would do whay you describe.

No, but I can verify that this happens to me now too and it didn't used to. It keeps near getting me aped in ion storms.

This is a way to prevent accidental chat-keylock. (i.e. press w, press t, release w, you don't keep accelerating forward.)
Possible solution: Make a -alias to START turbo, and a +alias to do nothing, and /bind an unrelated key to it. That way when you unlock turbo you can just press and release the unrelated key to start it up again.
