So after the update (1.2) I have been getting some wicked abrupt colour shifts. For instance, I'll fly into the dock, when I'm 200m away it switches to blue, 150, pinkish, 50, back to brown...

I know its not my monitor because:

a) it happend immeditely after the update.
b) it is consistent. I can go to 200m, stop, go to 150, colour shift, back to 200, colour shift, etc.

Me: G5 Dually 2, 2.5gigs ram, 9600 Pro Ati

There's a bug with the glow effect in opengl mode. You'll need to turn off the glow effect until we get the problem resolved.
